Jack Howell (born 28 February 2004) is an Australian para-triathlete. He competed at the 2024 Paris Paralympics. [1]
Howell was born on 28 February 2004at 33 weeks premature in Canberra. [2] [3] His premature birth resulted in condition known as Symbrachydactyly which resulted in a congenital amputation of the left hand and affected the left arm's length and motion. [4] He attended Kambrya College.
Howell was a competitive swimmer, cross-country runner and triathlete during youth. [3] At the age of thirteen, he started in triathlon and in 2022 was classified in the PTS5 category allowing him to compete internationally. [3] Since 2022, he has won Australian and Oceania Championships and has several top five placings in World Triathlon Para Series events. [5]
In 2024, he moved from Victoria to the Gold Coast to be coached by Olympian Brendan Sexton. He was ranked fifth in the Men's PTS5 going into the 2024 Paris Paralympics where he finished seventh. [1] [6]

Dylan Martin Alcott, is an Australian former wheelchair tennis player, former wheelchair basketball player, radio host, actor, foundation founder, business owner and motivational speaker. Alcott was a member of the Australia men's national wheelchair basketball team, known colloquially as the Australian "Rollers". At the age of 17, he became the youngest Rollers gold medal winner, at the 2008 Beijing Paralympics, and was the youngest to compete in the wheelchair basketball competition. In 2014, he returned to wheelchair tennis with the aim of participating at the 2016 Rio Paralympics, at which he won gold medals in the Men's Quad Singles and Doubles. He was named the 2016 Australian Paralympian of the Year due to his outstanding achievements at Rio.
Jack Swift is an Australian athletics competitor and paratriathlete. He was selected to represent Australia at the 2012 Summer Paralympics in athletics in the 400m and 4 × 100 m events.
Sally Pilbeam is an arm amputee Australian paratriathlete. In 2014 and 2015, she won gold medals at the World Triathlon Series Finals. She competed at the 2024 Paris Paralympics.
Lauren Steadman is a British Paralympic athlete who has competed in four Summer Paralympics, in both swimming and the paratriathlon. She competed at both the 2008 Summer Paralympics in Beijing and the 2012 Summer Paralympics in London as a swimmer, before switching to the paratriathlon for the 2016 Games in Rio where she won a silver medal in the Women's PT4. She won the gold medal in the Women's PTS5 at the 2020 Games in Tokyo.
Kathleen Margaret "Katie" Kelly is an Australian paratriathlete, who has a degenerative disease known as Usher syndrome. Kelly began competing in the PT5 paratriathlon classification in February 2015 when her condition deteriorated to a legally blind state. She has just 30 per cent of her vision. With her guide Michellie Jones, Kelly won gold medals at the 2015 and 2017 ITU World Championships and 2016 Rio Paralympics. She competed at the 2020 Summer Paralympics.
Kate Næss is an Australian paraequestrian and paratriathlete. She won a bronze medal at the 2015 World Triathlon Grand Final. She represented Australia at the 2016 Rio Paralympics when paratriathlon made its debut at the Paralympics.
Daniel "Dan' Michel is an Australian boccia player. He represented Australia at the 2016 Rio Paralympics and 2020 Tokyo Paralympics. He won the bronze medal in the Mixed B3 at the Tokyo Paralympics. He won two gold medals at the 2022 World Championships.
Jaryd Clifford is an Australian Paralympic, vision impaired, middle-distance athlete. He represented Australia at the 2016 Rio Paralympics in athletics. He won gold medals in the Men's 1500m and 5000m T13 events at the 2019 World Para Athletics Championships. Clifford represented Australia at the 2020 Tokyo Paralympics, where he won silver medals in the Men's 5000m T13 and Men's Marathon T12, and a bronze medal in the Men's 1500 m T13. He competed at the 2024 Paris Paralympics.
Nic Beveridge is an elite Australian triathlete with a disability. He represented Australia at the 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games where he won a silver medal. He has competed at three Summer Paralympics.
