John Warner (21 September 1911 – 1980) was a Welsh footballer who played as a wing half.
In his early days, he played for Swansea Town, and he went on to make 135 Football League appearances for the Welsh club before moving to Manchester United for 1938–39. He made over 100 league appearances for the Old Trafford club, and then transferred to Oldham Athletic. [3]
Warner moved to Rochdale for the 1951-52 season, making 21 league appearances for the club. [4] He then became manager of Rochdale for the 1952-53 season. [5] [6]
He also made two appearances for Wales, along with one wartime cap. [3]
John William Hollins was an English football player and manager. He initially played as a midfielder, before becoming an effective full-back later in his career. Hollins played in the Football League, predominantly for Chelsea, with whom he won the FA Cup, Football League Cup and UEFA Cup Winners' Cup. He made 592 appearances for Chelsea over two spells from 1963 to 1975 and from 1983 to 1984, making him one of six players to have made over 500 appearances for the club.

Anthony Ford is an English former footballer. Through most of his career, Ford was a right-sided midfielder, but in later years, he was converted to right-back. In a career that spanned 27 years, across four decades, Ford played 931 league matches, which is the all-time record for matches played in the English league by an outfield player. He is one of three outfield players in English football to have ever passed 1,000 games in competitive matches, the others being Scott McGleish and Graham Alexander.
