Jacob Lee Roberts (born 29 June 1990) is an English actor, best known for portraying the role of Damon Kinsella in the Channel 4 soap opera Hollyoaks between and 2017 and 2023. In 2024, he joined the cast of the ITV soap opera Coronation Street as Kit Green.
Jacob Lee Roberts was born on 29 June 1990 in Salford, Greater Manchester. [1] [2] He studied at David Johnson Drama in Manchester and appeared as Happy Boy in the stage production of Borstal Boy which toured the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2007, and New York City in 2008. [3] [4] He has also appeared in various television advertisements including for the theme park Alton Towers and the bank HSBC. [5] Roberts also studied at an acting school ran by Jamie Lomas prior to graduating. [6]
In 2017, Roberts joined the cast of the Channel 4 soap opera Hollyoaks as Damon Kinsella. [7] He was introduced as the secret brother of Scott Drinkwell (Ross Adams) in July 2017 as part of episodes set in Ibiza which saw him being tracked down, alongside the character's best friend Brody Hudson (Adam Woodward). [8] Roberts and Woodward were nominated for the Best Partnership Award at the 2018 Inside Soap Awards for their portrayal of the characters' on-screen friendship. [9] [10] [11] His other storylines during his tenure on the show included the character's marriage to Maxine Minniver (Nikki Sanderson), dealing with the death of Brody and a relationship with Liberty Savage (Jessamy Stoddart). [16] His character departed alongside Zara Morgan (Kelly Condron) [17] [18] Roberts is set to appear as Paul Ashton in the upcoming film Cara. [3] In 2024, he joined the cast of the ITV soap opera Coronation Street as Kit Green, the estranged son of established character Bernie Winter (Jane Hazlegrove). [19]

Hollyoaks is a British soap opera which originally began airing on Channel 4 on 23 October 1995. It was created by Phil Redmond, who had previously conceived the soap opera Brookside. From 2005 to 2023, episodes have aired on sister channel E4 a day prior to their broadcast on Channel 4. In 2023, Hollyoaks was removed from Channel 4's early evening schedule, but remains on E4 and Channel 4's on demand service with episodes now uploaded to YouTube. At its inception, the soap was targeted towards an adolescent and young adult audience but it has since broadened its appeal to all age groups. Hollyoaks has covered various taboo subjects rarely seen on British television, for which it has received numerous awards. It has won the award for Best British Soap twice, in 2014 and 2019; its first win broke the 15-year tie between rival soap operas EastEnders and Coronation Street. Beginning with a cast of 15 characters, it now has 37 regular cast members. The longest-serving actor is Nick Pickard, who has portrayed Tony Hutchinson since the first episode.
Nikki Sanderson is an English actress and former glamour model who is known for playing Candice Stowe in the television soap opera Coronation Street, Dawn Bellamy in Heartbeat and Maxine Minniver in Hollyoaks. During her time at Coronation Street and since, she has also been a television presenter on programmes such as CD:UK, Junior Eurovision: The British Final and Ministry of Mayhem.
Amy Louise Robbins is an English stage, film and TV actress best known for her role as Dr. Jill Weatherill in the British television series The Royal. Before this, she played Police Sergeant Rachel James in the BBC One hospital drama Casualty. Maxine's storylines have included: domestic violence at the hands of Patrick Blake ; giving birth to Patrick's daughter Minnie with Down's syndrome, a relationship with her stepson Dodger Savage, a custody battle against Patrick for Minnie, with him attempting to portray her as an alcoholic; her relationship with Darren Osborne ; coping with Patrick's motor neurone disease; burying Patrick's body in the city wall after he was murdered by his great-niece Nico Blake and discovering that he framed her for his murder; getting engaged to Warren Fox ; falling pregnant and not knowing whether the father is Warren or her boyfriend Adam Donovan ; miscarrying the baby after being trapped in a lift by Nico; a love triangle with Adam and his ex-fiancée, Darcy Wilde ; a relationship with Damon Kinsella ; and having Munchausen syndrome.
Patrick Blake is a fictional character from the British Channel 4 soap opera Hollyoaks, played by Jeremy Sheffield. He made his first screen appearance on 21 November 2012. The character's introduction to the serial and Sheffield's casting were announced on 7 October 2012. Patrick is introduced as the biological father of established character Dodger Savage. It was announced in December 2023 that Patrick would be returning to Hollyoaks in an unknown capacity.
Sienna Blake is a fictional character from the British Channel 4 soap opera Hollyoaks, played by Anna Passey. The character made her first appearance on 21 November 2012 and was introduced as the estranged twin sister of established character Dodger Savage, along with her father Patrick Blake. Emily Lawrance was originally selected for the role, however Passey replaced her within weeks and only she has appeared on-screen as Sienna. The character has had a daughter, Nico, with Dodger, and twins Sebastian and Sophie with Warren Fox, an affair with Darren Osborne, a marriage with Ben Bradley, an affair with Trevor Royle who was later killed by Nico, a relationship with her half-sister Liberty Savage's former boyfriend Brody Hudson, and been diagnosed with cervical cancer while pregnant. Passey took a short break from the show in early 2020 and was absent between 17 January and 30 March. On the episode aired on Channel 4 Streaming service on 21 August 2024 it was revealed that Patrick was not in fact Siennas father, it was in fact his twin brother Jeremy. Making Minnie and Dilly now her cousins, not half sisters.
Scott Drinkwell is a fictional character from the British soap opera Hollyoaks, played by Ross Adams. The character made his first appearance on 27 April 2015. Producers asked Adams to audition for the role while he was working as a script editor on rival soap opera Emmerdale. The actor forgot his lines during his screen test but was still offered the role. The character was billed as a "troublesome new relative" joining the show's established O'Connor family. He is the cousin of Sinead O'Connor and nephew to Diane Hutchinson. Executive producer Bryan Kirkwood introduced the character to cause conflict with other characters.

Niamh Kate Blackshaw is an English actress. She made her television debut in the ITV soap opera Coronation Street (2017) as Lara Cutler. She then played Juliet Nightingale in the Channel 4 soap opera Hollyoaks (2018–2023), for which she was nominated for Best Leading Performer at the 2023 British Soap Awards.
Adam Woodward is an English actor and model, known for his two roles in Emmerdale first as Grant then as Nathan and is also known for portraying the role of Brody Hudson in the Channel 4 soap opera Hollyoaks. For his portrayal of Brody, he received the award for Best Male Dramatic Performance at the 2019 British Soap Awards.
Summer Ranger is a fictional character from the British Channel 4 soap opera Hollyoaks, played by Rhiannon Clements. Clements' casting was announced on 19 October 2020, and the actress made her first appearance on 25 November 2020. Summer was introduced as the daughter of established character Cormac Ranger. Two sides of Summer's personality have been explored since her introduction, with scenes showing her to have "sweetness and light" to her, while also possessing a nasty side. Digital Spy wrote that her introduction would have troubling consequences for Brody Hudson, Warren Fox and Felix Westwood, all of whom were involved in an attack on her father. Summer was also billed as a "frenemy" for Sienna Blake, with who she later forms a romantic connection. After her 12-month contract with the soap had ended, it was announced that Clements would be departing from Hollyoaks.
Beau Ramsey is a fictional character from the British soap opera Hollyoaks, played by Jon-Paul Bell. Beau first appears in episode 5964, originally broadcast on 20 October 2022. Bell's casting and character details were announced on 6 September 2022 by Hollyoaks's former executive producer Lucy Allan. The newcomer was later revealed as the estranged son of the soap opera's longest serving character Tony Hutchinson. Beau's storylines since his debut in the serial consist of being revealed as the son of Tony, settling into the Hutchinson family and moving into The Dog in the Pond public house, his brief affair with Liberty Savage upon introduction, his relationships with Maxine Minniver and Kitty Draper before murdering Kitty's conversion therapist father Declan Hawthorne in self-defence after he held her hostage. Bell's portrayal of Beau received a nomination for "Best Newcomer" at the Inside Soap Awards 2023. In June 2024, it was reported Beau was set to leave the series, with his departure airing on 1 August 2024.
