Jacques Du Toit (born 2 January 1980) is a cricketer who played for Leicestershire. He is a middle order right handed batsman who can also bowl medium fast.
Originally from South Africa,English qualified Du Toit played for Leicestershire between 2008 and 2012. In 2008 he made his maiden first class century against Northamptonshire [1] and his highest one day score came when he scored 144 from 119 balls in the Pro40 game with Glamorgan,although it was not enough to prevent a four-wicket defeat.
The 2010 was successful,with Du Toit scoring 899 County Championship runs,culminating im him signing a new two-year contract. His performances in all forms of the county game earned him the honour of winning Leicestershire's Supporter's Player of the Year.

He scored over 16,000 first-class runs and after the age of 35 took more than 500 wickets and more than 30 five-wicket hauls. Stevens was named as one of the Wisden Cricketers of the Year in the 2021 edition of the almanack.

In 2008,he played for Leicestershire on loan because he was unable to break into Lancashire's first team. He is an all-rounder,bowling right-arm medium and batting left-handed. At the start of the 2009 season,Smith was promoted to open the batting,having previously batted in the lower order,and secured his place there. In 2011,the year Lancashire won the County Championship for the first time since 1950,Smith became the first Lancashire player to score a century and take four wickets in the same one-day match. In 2011/12 Smith played for the Matabeleland Tuskers in Zimbabwe as an overseas player in the domestic twenty20 competition.

A promising talent in his 34 white-ball appearances for England,Taylor was forced into retirement at just 26 years of age due to a previously undiagnosed heart condition.
Penrhyn Avenue is a cricket ground in Colwyn Bay,Wales. The ground was first used by the Glamorgan 1st XI in 1966,although County Championship matches have only been an annual fixture since 1990. In 2015,the ground hosted a County Championship match against Lancashire,during which Lancashire batsmen Ashwell Prince and Alviro Petersen put on a ground record partnership of 501 for the third wicket. The ground was most recently used by Glamorgan in 2019 for a County Championship match,against Lancashire. A proposed game in 2022 was moved to Cardiff and Glamorgan did not play at Penrhyn Avenue in 2023 or 2024.

Shipman played 110 of his 111 matches for Leicestershire between 1908 and 1914,but returned to make a single appearance for the county in the summer of 1921.
