Jake Bowey (born 12 September 2002) is an Australian rules footballer who plays for the Melbourne Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL).
Bowey is the son of former St Kilda player Brett Bowey.
Bowey participated in the Auskick program at the Highett Football Club. [1] He went on to play junior and senior football with the club and under-18 football with the Sandringham in the NAB League.[ citation needed ]
He was educated at Cheltenham Secondary College. [2]
Bowey was drafted by the Melbourne Football Club with pick 21 in the 2020 AFL draft. [3]
Bowey made his AFL debut in the Demons' 98-point victory against Gold Coast at Marvel Stadium in round 20, 2021. [4] Bowey held his spot in the best 22 which propelled Melbourne to its first premiership since 1964.
Bowey would go on to feature in 17 consecutive wins for Melbourne to start his career, almost breaking the V/AFL record of Collingwood's Albert Lauder set in the 1920s, when Lauder played in 18 consecutive wins to start his career. [5]

As a player, he played his entire career with St Kilda in the AFL. Following retirement, Harvey embarked on a career in assistant coaching which has spanned across three decades, highlighted by a nine-game stint as caretaker head coach of the Collingwood Football Club in 2021.

Jack Viney is a professional Australian rules footballer playing for the Melbourne Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). A midfielder, 1.78 metres tall and weighing 86 kilograms (190 lb), Viney is capable of contributing as both an inside and outside midfielder. He played top-level football at a young age playing in the first XVIII at Prince Alfred College at fifteen and was a bottom-aged player in the TAC Cup for the Oakleigh Chargers. His father, Todd Viney, is a former Melbourne captain and Jack followed in his footsteps when he was drafted by Melbourne with the twenty-sixth pick in the 2012 AFL draft under the father–son rule. He made his debut in 2013, receiving a nomination for the AFL Rising Star and was awarded the Harold Ball Memorial Trophy. He was named as Melbourne's best and fairest player in 2016, winning the Keith 'Bluey' Truscott Trophy.
