Si Jalak Harupat Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium located in Kutawaringin Subdistrict, Bandung Regency, West Java, Indonesia. It is currently used for association football matches and was used for the 2018 Asian Games men's football tournament.

Contents

The stadium is the home ground of Persikab Kabupaten Bandung. Since 2009, Persib Bandung started playing home matches here. [1] The stadium holds 27,000 people.

The 2015 Indonesia President's Cup was the first edition of the Indonesia President's Cup. The tournament was held to restore the atmosphere of Indonesian football which had been frozen by FIFA. The tournament was held from 30 August to 18 October 2015. The tournament was inaugurated by President Joko Widodo in Gianyar, Bali.

The 2016 season was Persib Bandung's 83rd in existence season in the top flight of Indonesian football. 2017 Indonesia President's Cup was the second edition of the Indonesia President's Cup football championship, which was held by the Football Association of Indonesia (PSSI). The tournament was held from 4 February to 12 March 2017. In the 2015 edition, Mahaka Sports and Entertainment designated as operator of the championship; this year's edition was held up by the control of the PSSI. This championship became a means of testing the new league rules by PSSI before being used in Liga 1 in April 2017. The broadcasting rights were granted to two television stations under Elang Mahkota Teknologi group, namely Indosiar and SCTV.

The 2023 FIFA U-17 World Cup is the 19th edition of the FIFA U-17 World Cup, the biennial international men's youth football tournament contested by the under-17 national teams of the member associations of FIFA. It is being held in Indonesia from 10 November to 2 December 2023. This is the first time that Indonesia will host a FIFA tournament and the first time that the FIFA U-17 World Cup is held in Southeast Asia. It is the third time a FIFA tournament will be held in the region since the 1997 FIFA World Youth Championship in Malaysia and 2012 FIFA Futsal World Cup in Thailand.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">2021 Menpora Cup</span> Football tournament season

The 2021 Menpora Cup was a pre-season tournament held by the PSSI ahead of the 2021 Liga 1. The tournament started on 21 March and finished with a two-legged final on 22 and 25 April 2021. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all matches were played behind closed doors. The 2021 edition was the second edition of Menpora Cup, with the first edition being held in 2013 which was won by Arema who defeated Australian side Central Coast Mariners by 2–1 in the final.

The 2022 Indonesia President's Cup was the fifth edition of Indonesia President's Cup, held by the Football Association of Indonesia (PSSI) as a pre-season tournament for the 2022–23 Liga 1. The tournament started on 11 June and finished on 17 July 2022.

On 17 June 2022, two people died from being asphyxiated during a stampede at the gate of Gelora Bandung Lautan Api Stadium, Bandung, West Java, Indonesia while watching the 2022 President's Cup group stage match between Persib Bandung as host and Persebaya Surabaya.
