James John Atkinson (born August 1990) is an international cricketer who plays cricket for Hong Kong. He also captained the Hong Kong cricket team before stepping down in May 2015.
A wicket-keeper,Atkinson has also represented Hong Kong at the under-19 level,and was part of their squad in the 2010 U-19 Cricket World Cup. [1] He was the first player (either male or female) born in the 1990s to play in ODI cricket as he made his debut at the age of 17 in 2008 against Pakistan during the 2008 Asia Cup. [2] [3] His father Steve played Minor Counties cricket.
Atkinson later attended Durham University. In 2014,Atkinson captained the Hong Kong team in their first global tournament,the World T20 in Bangladesh,defeating the hosts in their final match after two losses. His highest score was 31 from 20 balls against Afghanistan in Chittagong.
In May 2015,he stepped down as Hong Kong's captain citing lack of form as his main reason. The decision came after he led the side in a 59-run win over Namibia in a T20 match in which he made an unbeaten 37-ball 64. [4] In April 2019,he was named in Hong Kong's squad for the 2019 ICC World Cricket League Division Two tournament in Namibia. [5] In May 2022,he was named in Hong Kong's side for the 2022 Uganda Cricket World Cup Challenge League B tournament. [6]
Franco "Frank" Nsubuga is a Ugandan cricketer. A right-handed batsman and off spin bowler,he has played for the Uganda national cricket team since 2001. His matches include seven first-class matches and fifty-two List A matches. He has also developed a cult following especially with this participation at the 2024 ICC Men's T20 World Cup also enhanced his reputation.

The 2019 ICC World Cricket League Division Two was an international cricket tournament that took place in April 2019 in Namibia. It was contested by six teams;Canada,Hong Kong,Oman,Papua New Guinea,the United States and tournament hosts Namibia. It formed part of the 2017–19 cycle of the World Cricket League (WCL) which determined the qualification for the 2023 Cricket World Cup. The final and third-place playoff match were granted One Day International (ODI) status by the International Cricket Council. Namibia won the tournament,after they beat Oman by 145 runs in the final. It was Namibia's first win in an ODI match,and it was the first ever ODI match played by Oman.

In October 2018,he was named in Uganda's squad for the 2018 ICC World Cricket League Division Three tournament in Oman. He played in Uganda's opening fixture of the tournament,against Denmark on 9 November 2018.
Mohammad Ghazanfar is a Pakistani-born Hong Kong cricketer. In April 2019,he was named in Hong Kong's squad for the 2019 ICC World Cricket League Division Two tournament in Namibia. He made his List A debut for Hong Kong against the United States in the 2019 ICC World Cricket League Division Two tournament on 24 April 2019.
Adit Gorawara is an Indian-born Hong Kong cricketer. In November 2019,he was named in Hong Kong's squad for the ICC World Cup Challenge League B tournament in Oman. He captained the Hong Kong Under 19 Team at the Asian Cricket Council's Eastern Region tournament in July 2019 and was given the award for Best Batsman of the tournament. Gorawara scored 220 runs at an average of 55,including three back-to-back fifties. He made his List A debut,for Hong Kong against Jersey,on 5 December 2019.
