Jane Nabulindo Kwoba (born 3 June 1976) is a Ugandan politician, teacher by profession and legislator. She represents the people of Busia District as district Woman representative in the parliament of Uganda. [1] [2] She is an independent member of parliament, she entered parliament after defeating former minister for karamoja affairs and National Resistance Movement member Barbara Nekesa Oundo who is currently serving as ambassador to south Africa. [3] [4] [5] She lost to Hellen Auma Wandera in the 2021-2026 Parliamentary Elections. [6]
Jane started her primary education from Elgon view primary school where she sat her primary leaving examinations(PLE) in 1988, She later enrolled at Masaba College for her O'level education where she finished her Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) in 1991. She later joined Makerere high school Greg centre where she sat her Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) in 1995, thereafter joining National teachers college Nagongera where she graduated with a diploma in education in 1997. She later joined Kyambogo University where she graduated with a bachelor's degree of Arts in Education. [7]
Jane served as a health specialist and was charged with sponsor donor relations for Compassion International from 2002 to 2012. [2]
She was an HIV/AIDS counselor for amalgamated transport and general workers union (ATGWU) uganda from 2013 to 2016. [2]
She was also women team leader at Eastern African sub-regional support initiative for the advancement of women – women and girls empowerment (EASSI-WOGE) from 2013 to 2016. [2]
From 2016 to date, Jane Nabulindo Kwoba has been a member of parliament of Uganda(10th parliament). In parliament she serves on the committee on HIV/AIDS and related diseases. [2]
She is a member of professional bodies; Buwembe secondary school board of governors. and the Dorcus ministry. [2]
Jane is also a member of the Uganda Women Parliamentary Association (UWOPA). [8]
She has advocated for fair and reasonable compensation for families in her area that are to be affected by a proposed gold refinery project by the chinese. [9] [10]
Barbara Nekesa Oundo is a Ugandan politician and diplomat, who serves as Uganda's High Commissioner to South Africa, based in Pretoria. In that capacity, she also represents her country, to the nations of South Africa, Botswana, Namibia, Lesotho and Swaziland.
Rosemary Bikaako Tumusiime is a Ugandan marketing professional, public administrator, feminist and politician. She is the elected Member of Parliament for Entebbe Municipality and is a representative for NRM, the ruling political party in Uganda. She is the first female representative for the constituency in over three decades and succeeded Muhammad Kawuma who served for two consecutive terms from 2006 to 2016. In the 10th Parliament, she serves as a member of the Committee on Equal Opportunities and the Committee on Presidential Affairs. She is also a member of the NRM Parliamentary Caucus, the Buganda Parliamentary Caucusand the treasurer of the Network for African Women Ministers and Parliamentarians (NAWMP).
Sylvia Nayebale, is a Ugandan journalist, businesswoman and politician, who serves as the incumbent Member of Parliament representing the Gomba District Women Constituency in the 10th Ugandan Parliament. She was re-elected in 2021 in the same position.
Judith Alyek is a Ugandan politician and the district Woman Representative for Kole District in Uganda's 10th Parliament. She is a member of the National Resistance Movement on whose ticket she ran on in the 2016 general elections. She also serves as the chairperson on the Committee on HIV/AIDS and related diseases.

Achiro Lucy Otim, commonly referred to as Lucy Achiro Otim is a female Ugandan politician and a Gender Specialist. She is the district woman representative for Aruu North County consistency, Pader district in the 10th Parliament. Achiro belongs to an independent political party at the Parliament of Uganda. She won the parliamentary seat running as an independent candidate in 2016. Her tenure as member of parliament was cut short when the Ugandan supreme court nullified her election for non-compliance with electoral laws because the electoral commission failed to carry out a vote recount after she had won with a two vote margin, beating James Nabinson Kidega of the National Resistance Movement (NRM). However, she returned as member of parliament after being re-elected Aruu north member of parliament in the April 2017 election by again beating Kidega, this time 64 percent to 32 percent.

She is the current Woman Member of Parliament of Bugiri District in period (2021-2026) after being declared as winner in the just concluded presidential and parliamentary elections in Uganda.

Jovrine Kyomukama Kaliisa is a Ugandan politician and businesswoman, currently serving as the National Deputy Coordinator of the Parish Development Model.She was the district woman representative of Ibanda and affiliated to the National Resistance Movement political party. In 2021-2026 elections, she was the aspiring Woman MP for Ibanda District under the National Resistance Movement political party, however she didn't win the elections.
Peace Kusasira also referred to as Kusasira Peace Kanyesigye Mubiru is a female Ugandan politician and social worker. She is the district woman representative of Mukono District under the National Resistance Movement political party. She served as the MP in the tenth, and ninth parliament and lost in the 2021–2026 elections. In the ninth parliament, Peace Kusasira, took the seat from outgoing MP, Margaret Nalugo.
