Jason Myers (born November 17, 1978) is an American professional stock car racing driver who competes full-time in the SMART Modified Tour, driving the No. 4 for Gary Myers. He is the younger brother of multi-time Bowman Gray Stadium track champion Burt Myers. [1]

Myers has also competed in the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour, and now defunct NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour, as well as the Southern Modified Racing Series, the ASA Southern Modified Race Tour, and the World Series of Asphalt Stock Car Racing. [2]

The Southern Modified Auto Racing Teams (SMART) Tour is a Modified stock car racing series racing in the Southeastern region of The United States. The series began in 1989, NASCAR took over the series in 2005. During its time as a NASCAR sanctioned series it followed identical regulations to the Northern NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour.

Burt Myers is a race car driver on the SMART Modified Tour. In 1999, at the age of 23, he became the youngest Bowman Gray Stadium track champion in history and would go on to win 9 more titles in 2001, 2007, 2010, 2011, 2013, 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019. He has won more pole awards than any other driver in the Whelen Southern Modified Tour's history. Myers has 19 career wins and won the 2010 and 2016 NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour Championship.

The 2014 NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour was the tenth season of the NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour (WSMT). It began with the UNOH Battle at the Beach at Daytona International Speedway on February 18, which did not count towards the championship. The first race for the championship was the Whelen Season Opener 150 at Caraway Speedway on March 9. It ended with the Southern Slam 150 at Charlotte Motor Speedway on October 9. George Brunnhoelzl III entered the season as the defending Drivers' Champion.
