The 2014 NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour was the 12th season of the NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour (WSMT). It began with the UNOH Battle at the Beach at Daytona International Speedway on February 18, which did not count towards the championship. The first race for the championship was the Whelen Season Opener 150 at Caraway Speedway on March 9. It ended with the Southern Slam 150 at Charlotte Motor Speedway on October 9. [1] George Brunnhoelzl III entered the season as the defending Drivers' Champion.
A previous two-time series runner-up, Andy Seuss won his first championship title, after a fifth-place finish at the final race in Charlotte. [2] Seuss, who won a trio of races in the opening half of the season – two at Caraway Speedway and one at South Boston Speedway – finished 14 points clear of Brunnhoelzl III, who won a pair of races at Langley Speedway and also at Caraway Speedway. Third place in the championship went to Burt Myers, who won the most races during the season, with four, all of which came during the second half of the season. Aside from the lead trio, other drivers to take race victories were J. R. Bertuccio, who won at Southern National Motorsports Park, Danny Bohn was a winner at Bowman Gray Stadium and Kyle Ebersole won the season's second race at South Boston Speedway. A combination race was also held during the season, the Bush's Beans 150 at Bristol Motor Speedway, with competitors from the Whelen Southern Modified Tour competing along with competitors for the Whelen Modified Tour. The race was won by Tommy Barrett Jr. and the best Southern Modified Tour competitor was Bertuccio in 13th position.

Domenick "Donny" Lia is an American stock car racing driver. He won the 2007 and 2009 NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour championships. He also won the Race of Champions Modified Tour races in 2004, 2005, 2006, and 2007. He has raced on the national level in the ARCA Re/Max Series, Camping World Truck Series, and the Nationwide Series.
The NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour (NWMT) is a stock car racing series owned and operated by NASCAR in the Modified Division. The Modified Division is NASCAR's oldest division, and is the only open-wheeled division that NASCAR sanctions. NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour events are mainly held in the northeastern United States, but the 2007 and 2008 tours expanded to the Midwest with the addition of a race in Mansfield, Ohio. The tour races primarily on short oval paved tracks, but the NWMT also has made appearances at larger ovals and road courses.
The NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour (WSMT) was a stock car racing series owned by NASCAR and operated in the Southeastern United States as part of its Modified Division. The series began in 1989 as the Southern Modified Auto Racing Teams (S.M.A.R.T.) before NASCAR took over the series in 2005. The Whelen Southern Modified Tour used nearly identical rules as its northeastern-based counterpart the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour.
James Robert Blewett is a NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour driver. He is the younger brother of the late John Blewett III.
Caraway Speedway is a short track located near Asheboro, North Carolina, U.S. Caraway Speedway was built in 1966 as a dirt track. The track was paved in 1972 and joined the NASCAR Weekly Series family as a .455 mile asphalt short track. Caraway Speedway was owned and operated by Russell and Valastra Hackett from 1977 to 2010. Russell turned over operations to Darren and Renee Hackett for the 2011 season. Caraway Speedway hosts a variety of weekly series, several Whelen Southern Modified Series events, as well as other touring series.
The University of Northwestern Ohio Battle at the Beach was a nonpoints, all-star race that brought together the top drivers in NASCAR's lower-level series and club racing. A successor to the Toyota All-Star Showdown, held from 2003 to 2011 at Irwindale Speedway in California, the inaugural event was held at a newly built short track at Daytona International Speedway on February 18–19, 2013.
The 2014 NASCAR K&N Pro Series West was the 61st season of the K&N Pro Series West. It began with the Talking Stick Resort 75 at Phoenix International Raceway on February 27, and will end with the Casino Arizona 100, also at Phoenix, on November 6. Derek Thorn entered the season as the defending Drivers' Champion. 2011 champion Greg Pursley won his second championship after the last race, 17 points ahead of Dylan Lupton.

The first race for the championship was the Icebreaker 150 presented by Town Fair Tire at Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park on April 6. It ended with the Sunoco World Series 150 at Thompson again on October 19. Ryan Preece entered the season as the defending Drivers' Champion. 2012 champion Doug Coby won the 2014 championship after 13 races, 22 points ahead of Preece. Preece won the last race, which meant he went from sixth to second in the championship.
Edward MacDonald is an American professional stock car racing driver. He most recently competed part-time in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East in 2018, a series which he competed in for over a decade and a half. In addition, MacDonald raced numerous times in the American Canadian Tour between 2007 and 2018, and has made starts in all three of NASCAR's national touring series, the K&N Pro Series West, and the Whelen Modified Tour.

It began with the New Smyrna 150 presented by JEGS at New Smyrna Speedway on February 16, and ended with the Drive Sober 150 at Dover International Speedway on September 26. Dylan Kwasniewski entered the season as the defending Drivers' Champion.
The 2015 NASCAR K&N Pro Series East is the 29th season of the K&N Pro Series East. It began with the Hart to Heart Breast Cancer Foundation 150 at New Smyrna Speedway on February 15 and ended with the Drive Sober 125 at Dover International Speedway on October 3. Ben Rhodes enters the season as the defending Drivers' Champion. William Byron won the championship, fifteen points in front of Scott Heckert. All of the races in the 2015 season were televised on NBCSN on a tape delay basis.

Beginning with the NAPA Auto Parts 150 at Kern County Raceway Park on March 28, the season ended on November 12 with the Casino Arizona 200 at Phoenix International Raceway. Two-time champion Greg Pursley did not defend his series title, as he retired at the end of the 2014 season. Chris Eggleston won the championship, seven points ahead of Noah Gragson.

Doug Coby entered the season as the defending Drivers' Champion and he won the championship for the fourth time, twelve points in front of Justin Bonsignore. Melissa Fifield, the only female driver to compete in the series in 2016, was voted by the fans as the most popular driver for the third consecutive year.

Andy Seuss is an American professional stock car racing driver. He won two consecutive championships in 2014 and 2015 in the NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour. Seuss has also competed in the NASCAR Cup Series, NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, Whelen Modified Tour, ARCA Menards Series and ARCA Menards Series East.
The 2019 NASCAR K&N Pro Series East was the 33rd season of the K&N Pro Series East, a regional stock car racing series sanctioned by NASCAR. It began with the New Smyrna 175 at New Smyrna Speedway on February 11 and concluded with the General Tire 125 at Dover International Speedway on October 4. General Tire took over the position as the official tire supplier of the series from Goodyear. Sam Mayer was crowned the series champion, becoming the youngest champion in series history, at 16 years, 3 months, 8 days, topping the previous record set by Todd Gilliland after he won the 2016 title. Tyler Ankrum entered the season as the defending drivers' champion, but he did not defend his championship because he moved up to the Truck Series full time in 2019.

It began with the Performance Plus 150 presented by Safety-Kleen at Myrtle Beach Speedway on March 16 and concluded with the Sunoco World Series 150 at Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park on October 13. Justin Bonsignore entered the season as the defending drivers' champion. 2019 marked the third season of the unification of the Whelen (Northern) Modified Tour and the Whelen Southern Modified Tour. Doug Coby won the championship, his sixth, eight points ahead of Bonsignore.
The 2020 NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour is the thirty-sixth season of the Whelen Modified Tour (NWMT), a stock car racing tour sanctioned by NASCAR. It began with the Wade Cole Memorial 133 at Jennerstown Speedway on June 21 and concluded at Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park on October 11. Justin Bonsignore won the championship, his second.
Despite extensive efforts by Caraway and NASCAR officials to identify an alternate date for the event, scheduling conflicts for both the track and the tour preclude rescheduling the Bunny Hop 150.
