The 2014 NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour was the tenth season of the NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour (WSMT). It began with the UNOH Battle at the Beach at Daytona International Speedway on February 18, which did not count towards the championship. The first race for the championship was the Whelen Season Opener 150 at Caraway Speedway on March 9. It ended with the Southern Slam 150 at Charlotte Motor Speedway on October 9. [1] George Brunnhoelzl III entered the season as the defending Drivers' Champion.
A previous two-time series runner-up, Andy Seuss won his first championship title, after a fifth-place finish at the final race in Charlotte. [2] Seuss, who won a trio of races in the opening half of the season – two at Caraway Speedway and one at South Boston Speedway – finished 14 points clear of Brunnhoelzl III, who won a pair of races at Langley Speedway and also at Caraway Speedway. Third place in the championship went to Burt Myers, who won the most races during the season, with four, all of which came during the second half of the season. Aside from the lead trio, other drivers to take race victories were J. R. Bertuccio, who won at Southern National Motorsports Park, Danny Bohn was a winner at Bowman Gray Stadium and Kyle Ebersole won the season's second race at South Boston Speedway. A combination race was also held during the season, the Bush's Beans 150 at Bristol Motor Speedway, with competitors from the Whelen Southern Modified Tour competing along with competitors for the Whelen Modified Tour. The race was won by Tommy Barrett Jr. and the best Southern Modified Tour competitor was Bertuccio in 13th position.

The Southern Modified Auto Racing Teams (SMART) Tour is a Modified stock car racing series racing in the Southeastern region of The United States. The series began in 1989, NASCAR took over the series in 2005. During its time as a NASCAR sanctioned series it followed identical regulations to the Northern NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour.
Caraway Speedway is a short track located near Asheboro, North Carolina, U.S. Caraway Speedway was built in 1966 as a dirt track. The track was paved in 1972 and joined the NASCAR Weekly Series family as a .455 mile asphalt short track. Caraway Speedway was owned and operated by Russell and Valastra Hackett from 1977 to 2010. Russell turned over operations to Darren and Renee Hackett for the 2011 season. Caraway Speedway hosts a variety of weekly series, several Whelen Southern Modified Series events, as well as other touring series.
The 2014 NASCAR K&N Pro Series West was the 61st season of the K&N Pro Series West. It began with the Talking Stick Resort 75 at Phoenix International Raceway on February 27, and will end with the Casino Arizona 100, also at Phoenix, on November 6. Derek Thorn entered the season as the defending Drivers' Champion. 2011 champion Greg Pursley won his second championship after the last race, 17 points ahead of Dylan Lupton.

It ended with the Sunoco World Series 150 at Thompson again on October 19. Ryan Preece entered the season as the defending Drivers' Champion. 2012 champion Doug Coby won the 2014 championship after 13 races, 22 points ahead of Preece. Preece won the last race, which meant he went from sixth to second in the championship.

It began with the New Smyrna 150 presented by JEGS at New Smyrna Speedway on February 16, and ended with the Drive Sober 150 at Dover International Speedway on September 26. It began with the Hart to Heart Breast Cancer Foundation 150 at New Smyrna Speedway on February 15 and ended with the Drive Sober 125 at Dover International Speedway on October 3. Ben Rhodes enters the season as the defending Drivers' Champion. William Byron won the championship, fifteen points in front of Scott Heckert. All of the races in the 2015 season were televised on NBCSN on a tape delay basis.

Andrew T. Seuss is an American professional stock car racing driver and team owner. As a driver, he won two consecutive championships in 2014 and 2015 in the NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour, and also competed in the NASCAR Cup Series, NASCAR Truck Series, Whelen Modified Tour, ARCA Menards Series and what is now the ARCA Menards Series East. As an owner, he owns KLAS Motorsports, which fields the No. 73 car part-time in the ARCA Menards Series for Andy Jankowiak.
The 2013 NASCAR K&N Pro Series East was the 27th season of the K&N Pro Series East. It began with the DRIVE4COPD 125 at Bristol Motor Speedway on March 17, and ended with the Road Atlanta 115 at Road Atlanta on October 18. Kyle Larson entered the season as the defending Drivers' Champion.

It ended with the Sunoco World Series of Speedway Racing at Thompson again on October 17. Donny Lia entered the season as the defending Drivers' Champion. Bobby Santos III won the 2010 championship after 14 races, 27 points ahead of Mike Stefanik.

Burt Myers would win his first championship in the series, 31 points ahead of series runner up L. W. Miller.

It ended with the World Series of Speedway Racing at Thompson again on October 25. Ted Christopher entered the season as the defending Drivers' Champion. Donny Lia won the 2009 championship after 13 races, 16 points ahead of Ryan Preece.
The 2009 NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour was the fifth season of the NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour (WSMT). It began with the Capital Bank 150 at Concord Speedway on March 21. It ended with the Fall Classic 150 at Caraway Speedway on October 24. Brian Loftin entered the season as the defending championship. George Brunnhoelzl III would win his first championship in the series, 180 points ahead of series runner up Andy Seuss.
Despite extensive efforts by Caraway and NASCAR officials to identify an alternate date for the event, scheduling conflicts for both the track and the tour preclude rescheduling the Bunny Hop 150.
