Daytona International Speedway is a race track in Daytona Beach, Florida, United States, about 50 mi (80 km) north of Orlando. Since opening in 1959, it has been the home of the Daytona 500, the most prestigious race in NASCAR as well as its season opening event. The venue also hosts the 24 Hours of Daytona, one of three IMSA races that make up the Triple Crown of endurance racing. In addition to NASCAR and IMSA, the track also hosts races of ARCA, AMA Superbike, SCCA, and AMA Supercross. The track features multiple layouts including the primary 2.500 mi (4.023 km) high-speed tri-oval, a 3.560 mi (5.729 km) sports car course, a 2.950 mi (4.748 km) motorcycle course, and a 1,320 ft (400 m) karting and motorcycle flat-track. The track's 180-acre (73 ha) infield includes the 29-acre (12 ha) Lake Lloyd, which has hosted powerboat racing.
The Irwindale Speedway & Event Center is a motorsports facility located in Irwindale, California, United States. It opened on March 27, 1999, under the official name Irwindale Speedway. Toyota purchased the naming rights to the facility in 2008, and from that time until 2011 it was also known as the Toyota Speedway at Irwindale.

The NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour (NWMT) is a modified stock car racing series owned and operated by NASCAR in the Modified Division. The Modified Division is NASCAR's oldest division, and is the only open-wheeled division that NASCAR sanctions. NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour events are mainly held in the northeastern United States, but the 2007 and 2008 tours expanded to the Midwest with the addition of a race in Mansfield, Ohio. The tour races primarily on short oval paved tracks, but the NWMT also has made appearances at larger ovals and road courses.

Toyota entered as the reigning Manufacturers' Champion, while Matt Crafton entered as the defending Drivers' Champion, and ended the season with his second consecutive title.

George Brunnhoelzl III entered the season as the defending Drivers' Champion.

It ended with the Sunoco World Series 150 at Thompson again on October 19. Ryan Preece entered the season as the defending Drivers' Champion. 2012 champion Doug Coby won the 2014 championship after 13 races, 22 points ahead of Preece. Preece won the last race, which meant he went from sixth to second in the championship.

It began with the Wade Cole Memorial 133 at Jennerstown Speedway on June 21 and concluded at Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park on October 11. Justin Bonsignore won the championship, his second.

It began with the Talking Stick Resort 60 at Phoenix International Raceway on March 2, and ended with the Casino Arizona 100, also at Phoenix, on November 8. Dylan Kwasniewski entered as the defending series champion, but didn't defend his title as he competed for the 2013 NASCAR K&N Pro Series East championship. Derek Thorn won his first championship after the last race, 6 points ahead of Cameron Hayley.
The 2013 NASCAR K&N Pro Series East was the 27th season of the K&N Pro Series East. It began with the DRIVE4COPD 125 at Bristol Motor Speedway on March 17, and ended with the Road Atlanta 115 at Road Atlanta on October 18. Kyle Larson entered the season as the defending Drivers' Champion.

George Brunnhoelzl III, who entered the season as the defending Drivers' Champion, would win his fourth and final championship in the series, thirty-one points ahead of series runner up Kyle Ebersole.
