Jason Pociask ( /ˈpoʊzi.æk/ ; born February 9, 1983) is a former American football tight end in the National Football League (NFL) for the New York Jets, New England Patriots, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Indianapolis Colts, Carolina Panthers, Seattle Seahawks and Dallas Cowboys. Early lifePociask attended Plainfield High School in Plainfield, Indiana. As a senior, he tallied 47 receptions for 721 yards and 128 tackles. He contributed to a 14–1 record and an appearance in the state finals. He received Associated Press All-state and 4A Defensive Player of the Year honors. College careerPociask accepted a football scholarship from the University of Wisconsin. As a redshirt freshman, he appeared in 5 games as a backup tight end and playing on special teams. As a sophomore he appeared in 13 games (5 starts), collecting one reception for 5 yards. As a junior, he appeared in 11 contests (4 starts), making 4 receptions for 60 yards.
