Walahar Commuter Line

Previously, there was a train service between Jakarta Kota & Purwakarta called Lokal Purwakarta and Patas Purwakarta which was first operated in the early 1970s by Indonesian Railway Company (PJKA). Initially, the train used Diesel Rail Train before being replaced by diesel-electric locomotives. In 2017, these trains were renamed Walahar Ekspres and Cilamaya Ekspres. However, since Gapeka 2019, the Cilamaya Ekspres train journey has been merged into just Walahar Ekspres.

The name Walahar is taken from the name of the dam located in Walahar, Klari, Karawang, West Java. Namely as Walahar Dam.

Jatiluhur Commuter Line

This train was formerly known as the Cikampek Local for the Cikampek–Jakarta Kota Station route. In 2017, the train was renamed the Jatiluhur Ekspres, and the journey, which previously ended in Jakarta Kota, was moved to Tanjung Priuk Station after optimization by PT Kereta Api Indonesia (PT KAI) for Commuter Line (KRL Commuter Line) services in Jakarta Kota. Currently, the train runs alongside the Walahar Ekspres train for the extension to Purwakarta Station.

The name Jatiluhur is taken from the name of the reservoir located in Jatiluhur, Purwakarta, Purwakarta Regency, West Java, namely as Jatiluhur Reservoir.
