Francisco Javier Raya Buenache (born 20 April 1991) is a Spanish figure skater. He is the 2011 Spanish national senior champion and has competed in the free skate at eight ISU Championships.
Francisco Javier Raya Buenache was born on 20 April 1991 in Madrid. [1] [2] He studied ballet from the age of six until he was 17. [3] He is studying audiovisual communication at the Complutense University of Madrid. [4] Raya is openly gay. [1] [2] [3] [5] [4]
Raya began skating in 1998 at a rink near Madrid's Chamartín railway station. [2] [3] His first coach was Jocelyn Flanagan. [3] He is now coached by Carolina Sanz and Jordi Lafarga in Madrid and spends some time training in Canada during the summer. He has worked with Daniela Slovak in Calgary, Manon Perron in Montreal, and Brian Orser in Toronto. [6] [7]
Raya made his European debut in 2011, finishing 19th. He sustained a leg injury before the 2011 Nebelhorn Trophy but recovered in November. [8] He withdrew from the 2012 Spanish Championships due to illness, and later missed the 2012 Europeans but competed at the 2012 Worlds, where he finished 24th.
Raya competed at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi and placed 25th. [9] He withdrew from the 2014 World Championships due to an injury of the adductor in his left foot. [10] At the 2015 European Championships in Stockholm, he placed 21st in the short program, 14th in the free skate, and 14th overall.

Sonia Lafuente Martínez is a Spanish former figure skater. She is a six-time Spanish national champion. Lafuente became the first Spanish skater to medal on the ISU Junior Grand Prix circuit when she won silver at the 2006 Mexico Cup.
Javier Fernández López is a Spanish former figure skater. He is the 2018 Olympic bronze medalist, a two-time World champion, a two-time World bronze medalist, a seven-time European champion (2013–2019), a two-time Grand Prix Final silver medalist, a three-time Rostelecom Cup champion (2014–2016), a two-time Grand Prix in France champion (2016–2017) and an eight-time Spanish national champion.
Takahito Mura is a Japanese former competitive figure skater. He is the 2014 Four Continents champion, 2014 Skate Canada International champion, and 2012 Trophée Éric Bompard champion. Nationally, he is a five-time Japan Championships bronze medalist and 2007 Japan Junior champion.
Alexei Bychenko is a retired Ukrainian-born Israeli figure skater. He represented Ukraine through 2009 and Israel after that. He is the 2016 European Figure Skating Championships silver medalist and 2016 Rostelecom Cup bronze medalist. He is the first Israeli skater to medal at the European Championships. He placed fourth at 2018 Worlds. Bychenko competed for Israel at the 2014, 2018, and 2022 Winter Olympics.
Alexander Alexandrovich Majorov is a Swedish retired figure skater. He is the 2017 Winter Universiade bronze medalist, the 2011 World Junior bronze medalist, a five-time Nordic champion, and a four-time Swedish national champion. His best finish at the European Championships is 6th (2013). He was 14th at the 2014 Winter Olympics.
The Golden Spin of Zagreb is an annual senior-level figure skating competition held in Zagreb, Croatia. In most years, the event is part of the ISU Challenger Series. Medals are awarded in men's singles, women's singles, pair skating, and ice dance.
Abzal Rakimgaliev is a Kazakhstani figure skater. He is the 2007 Kazakhstani national champion and has won seven senior international medals. He competed at the 2010 Olympics in Vancouver, where he placed 26th, and at the 2014 Olympics in Sochi, where he placed 22nd.

Crystal Kiang is a Taiwanese-American former figure skater who competed internationally for Taiwan in ladies singles. She is a two-time Taiwanese national champion and competed in the free skate at five Four Continents Championships, placing a career-best 15th in 2013.
Petr Coufal is a Czech figure skater. He qualified to the free skate at seven ISU Championships, including the 2015 European Championships where he finished 12th. His best World Junior Championship result, tenth, came in 2014. He won a bronze medal at the 2014 Bavarian Open.
Zhang He is a Chinese figure skater. He is the 2018 Chinese national silver medalist. He has won six ISU Junior Grand Prix medals and has competed at four World Junior Championships, placing as high as 6th.
Severin Kiefer is a retired Austrian figure skater. He is a ten-time Austrian national pairs champion and a three-time national bronze medalist (2012–14) in men's singles. He and Ziegler have represented Austria at the 2014, 2018 and 2022 Winter Olympics.
Olivia Smart is a British-Spanish ice dancer, who currently competes with Tim Dieck for Spain. She previously represented Spain partnered with Adrián Díaz. With Díaz, Smart was the 2021 Skate Canada International bronze medalist, a four-time Challenger Series medalist, and a three-time Spanish national champion. They represented Spain at the 2022 Winter Olympics.
Viktoria Uladzimirauna Kavaliova is a Belarusian former competitive ice dancer. With partner Yurii Bieliaiev, she has won two medals on the ISU Challenger Series and two national titles. They have competed in the final segment at four ISU Championships – 2012 Junior Worlds in Minsk, Belarus; 2014 Junior Worlds in Sofia, Bulgaria; 2016 Europeans in Bratislava, Slovakia; and 2017 Europeans in Ostrava, Czech Republic.
Slavik Hayrapetyan is an Armenian figure skater. A seven-time Armenian national champion, he has won five senior international medals and competed in the final segment at seven ISU Championships, including the 2018 World Championships, four European Championships, and two World Junior Championships.
Marta Maria García Orge is a Spanish figure skater. After winning the silver medal at the 2014 Spanish Championships, she was assigned to the 2014 European Championships where she qualified for the free skate. García has one senior international medal, bronze from the 2014 Toruń Cup.
Andrés Felipe Montoya Pulgarín is a Spanish competitive figure skater. He is also a graduate of the Dickinson School of Law at the Pennsylvania State University. He has won seven international medals and is an eight-time Spanish national medalist, having won two silver and six bronze medals. He finished within the top twenty at two European Championships and placed 29th at the 2018 Winter Olympics.
Tim Dieck is a German competitive ice dancer. With his former skating partner Katharina Müller, he is a two-time German national champion and has won many senior international medals, including two silver medals on the ISU Challenger Series and three gold medals at the German NRW Trophy. They have represented Germany at the European and World championships. In December 2022, it was announced that Dieck had teamed up with British-Spanish ice dancer Olivia Smart.
