Telugu cinema, also known as Tollywood, is the segment of Indian cinema dedicated to the production of motion pictures in the Telugu language, widely spoken in the states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Based in Film Nagar, Hyderabad, Telugu cinema has become the largest film industry in India by box-office revenue as of 2021. Telugu films sold 23.3 crore tickets in 2022, the highest among all Indian film industries. As of 2023, Andhra Pradesh has the highest number of movie screens in India.

Starring Nandamuri Balakrishna, Asin and Prakash Raj, with music composed by Mani Sharma. The film was released on January 14, 2004, to positive reviews and was declared a hit. The film is a remake of the 2003, Tamil Movie Saamy. The film was later dubbed into Hindi as IPS Narasimha in 2010 by Aditya Music and into Tamil as Latchmi Narasimman in 2021.

The plot follows Raju, a cab driver who gets hailed as God in a remote village and ends up facing GK, a powerful industrialist, to save the village. The film deals with illegal-mining in India, and related environmental damage. It marks Babu's return as an actor after a three-year hiatus in his second collaboration with Trivikram after Athadu.

It is produced by Ram Achanta, Gopi Achanta, and Anil Sunkara under the banner 14 Reels Entertainment. The film stars Mahesh Babu, Samantha, Prakash Raj, and Sonu Sood alongside Brahmanandam who played a supporting role. The film revolves around Ajay Kumar (Babu), a police officer and son of ex-MLA Shankar Narayana (Raj), who awakes from coma, but his health remains perilous. To aid his recovery, Kumar masquerades as a MLA fulfilling his father's ambition for him, while also hunting his father's foes. The film was inspired by the 2003 German film Good Bye, Lenin!.

Ninnindale is a 2014 Indian Kannada-language romantic comedy drama film directed by Jayanth C. Paranjee, in his directorial debut in Kannada cinema, and produced by Vijay Kirgandur under Hombale Films. The film's title is inspired by the track called Ninnindale from Puneeth Rajkumar's earlier film Milana. It stars Puneeth Rajkumar and Erica Fernandes, alongside Vinayak Joshi, Sonia Deepti, All Ok, Sadhu Kokila, Avinash Sringeri, Thilak Shekar, Bramhanandam and Shankar Melkote. The music was composed by Mani Sharma, while cinematography and editing were handled by P. G. Vinda and Marthand K. Venkatesh.
Drushyam (transl. Visual) is a 2014 Indian Telugu-language crime thriller film directed by Sripriya and jointly produced by D. Suresh Babu and Rajkumar Sethupathi. It is a remake of Jeethu Joseph's 2013 Malayalam film Drishyam and features Venkatesh, Meena, Esther Anil and Kruthika Jayakumar. Venkatesh and Kruthika plays the respective roles of Mohanlal and Ansiba Hasan in the original whereas Meena and Esther reprises their roles from the original film. The film tells the story of Rambabu, a middle-class cable TV operator, and his family. They come under suspicion when Varun, the son of the Inspector-general of police (IG), goes missing soon after harassing Rambabu's daughter. The rest of the film reveals how Varun disappeared and what Rambabu does to keep his family from going to prison.

Rao Ramesh initially appeared in Seema Simham (2002), Okkadunnadu (2007), before getting a breakthrough role in Krish's Gamyam (2008), portraying a reformed Naxalite, he received critical acclaim for his portrayal and the film went on to become one of the highest grossing Telugu films of the year.
Drushyam 2 is a 2021 Indian Telugu-language crime thriller film written and directed by Jeethu Joseph. It is a remake of his 2021 Malayalam film Drishyam 2 and sequel to Drushyam (2014). The film was jointly produced by D. Suresh Babu, Antony Perumbavoor, Rajkumar Sethupathi, and Jacob K. Babu through the companies Suresh Productions, RajKumar Theatres, and Max Movies. It stars Venkatesh, Meena, Nadhiya, Naresh, Kruthika and Esther Anil reprising their roles from first part, with Sampath Raj and Poorna as new additions. The story takes place six years after the events of Drushyam.
