She would not start in the 100m hurdles.

Hejnová is a two-time World Champion, having claimed titles at the 2013 and 2015 World Championships in Athletics. Patricia Jean "Patty" Van Wolvelaere is a retired hurdler from the United States who competed at the 1968 and 1972 Summer Olympics Olympics. Her best finish was the fourth place in the 80 m event in 1968. She won the 100 m hurdles at the 1971 Pan American Games and held four national outdoor titles in this event, in 1971, 1973–74 and 1977. Van Wolvelaere also won the National Indoor Championships in the 60 yard hurdles six times between 1967 and 1974, including four in a row in 1971–74.

Jean-Claude Nallet is a retired French sprinter that competed in the 1968 Summer Olympics in the 400 m and 4 × 400 m relay and at the 1976 Summer Olympics in the 400 m hurdles and reached the final in the relay. He won two gold and two silver medals in these events at the European championships of 1969-1974. Nallet retired after finishing sixth in the 400 m hurdles at the 1978 European Athletics Championships. He is married to French Olympic gymnast Chantal Seggiaro.
