Jeff Sorrells (born 1959) is an American politician. He is a member of the Alabama House of Representatives from the 87th District,serving since 2019. He is a member of the Republican party. Sorrells was previously the mayor of Hartford,Alabama and is a vice president of the First National Bank of Hartford,Alabama. [1] [2]
Artur Genestre Davis is an American attorney and former politician who served as a Democratic member of the United States House of Representatives for Alabama's 7th congressional district from 2003 to 2011. He was also a candidate for the Democratic nomination for Governor of Alabama in the 2010 election. After losing in the primary,he moved to Virginia and joined the Republican Party. He rejoined the Democratic Party 2015 and 2017 in his two attempts to be elected Mayor of Montgomery,Alabama in the 2015 and 2019 elections,losing both times. He rejoined the Republican Party for one year in 2016.
Ella Rosa Giovianna Oliva Grasso was an American politician and member of the Democratic Party who served as the 83rd Governor of Connecticut from January 8,1975,to December 31,1980,after rejecting past offers of candidacies for Senate and Governor.
