Jessie Barr (born 24 July 1989 in Waterford, Ireland) is an Irish athlete who competed at the 2012 Summer Olympics.
Jessie is from Dunmore East in Waterford and she attended the local girls primary school, the Light of Christ National School. She also attended the Ursuline Convent (St Angela's School), Waterford. Her parents are Thomas and Martina Barr. She has a sister Becky and she is the older sister of hurdler Thomas Barr. [1]
She currently[ when? ] lives in Limerick. She competed for Ireland in the London Olympics. [2] In the 400 metres hurdles she has also been a European Athletics Championship Finalist, a World University Games Finalist and she is the Irish U23 Record holder. [3]
She was forced to lay off her training in 2014 following a stress fracture to her foot so she finished her Masters in Sports Psychology at the University of the West of England. She moved back to her training group in Limerick, Ireland in September 2014 and started her PhD in Sport Psychology.[ citation needed ]

She was a six-time collegiate All-American at Virginia Tech where she was elected to its sports hall of fame. Queen is a meet director for Virginia's Best Track and Field Classic - VHSL meet hosted in Richmond, Virginia started in 2017.

In her senior career she competed in two Olympic Games, two World Championships and one European championship. She is the 2016 Rio Olympics champion and 2020 Tokyo Olympics silver medalist, becoming at the latter the second-fastest woman of all time in the event with her personal best of 51.58 seconds. Muhammad was second at both the 2013 and 2017 World Championships to take her first gold in 2019, setting the former world record of 52.16 s. She was the second female 400 m hurdler in history, after Sally Gunnell, to have won the Olympic, World titles and broken the world record. At both the 2019 World Championships and Tokyo Games, she also took gold as part of women's 4 × 400 metres relay team.
Fiona Doyle is an Irish swimmer. She represented Ireland in the 2016 Rio Olympics swimming in the 100M and 200M Breaststroke.
