Jessup is an unincorporated community and census-designated place in Howard and Anne Arundel counties, about 15 miles (24 km) southwest of Baltimore, Maryland, United States. Per the 2020 census, the population was 10,535.
MARC is a commuter rail system in the Washington–Baltimore area. MARC is administered by the Maryland Transit Administration (MTA) and operated under contract by Alstom and Amtrak on track owned by CSX Transportation (CSXT) and Amtrak. In 2023, the system had a ridership of 3,860,600, or about 12,400 per weekday as of the fourth quarter of 2023, less than pre-COVID-19 pandemic weekday ridership of 40,000.
College Park–University of Maryland station is a Washington Metro station in Prince George's County, Maryland, on the Green Line. It also serves MARC's Camden Line, though only select trains stop at the station.
Maryland Route 175 is a state highway in the U.S. state of Maryland. The highway runs 17.01 miles (27.37 km) from Little Patuxent Parkway in Columbia east to MD 3 in Millersville. MD 175 is a major highway through the large unincorporated community of Columbia; the highway connects U.S. Route 29 next to Columbia Town Center with Interstate 95 (I-95) and an industrial area on the eastern side of Howard County. MD 175 also connects Fort Meade with Jessup and Odenton in western Anne Arundel County, where it links MD 295 and MD 32 with the eastern part of the U.S. Army base.
The Baltimore Light RailLink is a light rail system serving Baltimore, Maryland, United States, and its northern and southern suburbs. It is operated by the Maryland Transit Administration. In downtown Baltimore, it uses city streets. Outside the central portions of the city, the line is built on private rights-of-way, mostly from the defunct Northern Central Railway, Baltimore and Annapolis Railroad and Washington, Baltimore and Annapolis Electric Railway. The system had a ridership of 3,546,300, or about 12,500 per weekday, as of the fourth quarter of 2023.

The Camden Line is a MARC commuter rail line that runs for 39 mi (63 km) between Union Station, Washington, D.C., and Camden Station, Baltimore, Maryland, over the CSX Capital Subdivision and Baltimore Terminal Subdivision. The Baltimore & Ohio Railroad began running commuter service from Baltimore to Ellicott City over part of the current line's trackage on May 24, 1830, making this corridor one of the country's oldest rail routes still in operation. The line was extended to Washington on August 25, 1835. The Camden Line is the shortest MARC line. As of 2019, the Camden Line is a weekday-only service.
The Penn Line is a MARC passenger rail service operating between Union Station in Washington, D.C., and Perryville, Maryland, along the far southern leg of the Northeast Corridor; most trains terminate at Baltimore's Penn Station. It is MARC's only electrified line. However, a majority of trips remain diesel powered. With trains operating at speeds of up to 125 miles per hour (201 km/h), it is the fastest commuter rail line in the United States. The service is operated by Amtrak under contract to the Maryland Transit Administration. MARC sets the schedules, owns most of the stations, and controls fares, while Amtrak owns and maintains the right-of-way, supplies employees to operate trains, and maintains the rolling stock. It is the busiest of MARC's three lines, with twice as many trains and ridership as the Brunswick and Camden lines combined.
Camden Station, now also referred to as Camden Street Station, Camden Yards, and formally as the Transportation Center at Camden Yards, is a train station at the intersection of South Howard and West Camden Streets in Baltimore, Maryland, adjacent to Oriole Park at Camden Yards, behind the B&O Warehouse. It is served by MARC commuter rail service and local Light Rail trains.
Halethorpe station is a passenger rail station located in the unincorporated community of Halethorpe, Maryland on the Northeast Corridor. MARC Penn Line trains serve the station; Amtrak trains pass through but do not stop.

Savage station is a MARC Camden Line station located on the border of Howard County and Anne Arundel County, Maryland. It is located off Dorsey Run Road near Maryland Route 32 between Annapolis Junction and Savage, Maryland. The station has one side platform and one island platform serving the three tracks of the CSX Capital Subdivision. A 914-space parking garage is located on the north side of the tracks.
Dorsey station is a passenger rail station on the MARC Camden Line between Washington, DC and Baltimore's Camden Station in Dorsey, Maryland. The station is located at Exit 7 on Maryland Route 100, a.k.a.; the Paul T. Pitcher Memorial Highway. It was built by MARC in 1996 as a replacement for a former Baltimore and Ohio Railroad station located on Route 103 east of Station House Drive. The former B&O station site is now a condominium development.
