Jesús District is one of seven districts of the province Lauricocha in Peru. [1]

Lauricocha Province is one of 11 provinces of the Huánuco Region in Peru. The capital of the province is Jesús.

Siula Grande is a mountain in the Huayhuash mountain range in the Peruvian Andes. It is 6,344 metres (20,814 ft) high and has a subpeak, Siula Chico, 6,260 m (20,540 ft) high.
Kuntur Wachanan is a mountain in the Andes of Peru, about 4,800 m (15,700 ft) high. It lies between the Waywash mountain range in the west and the lake named Lawriqucha in the east. Kuntur Wachanan is situated in the Huánuco Region, Lauricocha Province, in the districts of Cauri and Jesús. The Waywash River (Huayhuash) flows along its northern slopes. It belongs to the Marañón watershed.
Wank'a Marka is a mountain in the Andes of Peru, about 4,800 m (15,700 ft) high. It is located in the Huánuco Region, Lauricocha Province, Jesús District. Wank'a Marka lies between the Waywash range and the Rawra mountain range, northwest of Asul Hanka and northeast of Puskan T'urpu.
Lawriqucha River is a river in the Huánuco Region in Peru. It belongs to the watershed of the Marañón River. The river is named after the lake Lawriqucha.
Tikra is an archaeological site in Peru. It was declared a National Cultural Heritage by Resolución Directoral No. 952/INC on September 20, 2001. The site consists of circular buildings and square or rectangular burial towers (chullpa). Tikra is situated in the Huánuco Region, Lauricocha Province, Jesús District, near Tikra (San José de Ticra, San José de Ticras). It lies on the slopes of Pitaq Mach'ay (Pitac Machay, Pitacmachay) northeast of Jesús.
