Jimmie Olden Johnson Jr. (born October 6, 1966) is a former American football tight end and current coach. Johnson played college football at Howard University and professionally in the National Football League (NFL) from 1989 to 1998. He is a member of Omega Psi Phi fraternity.
Johnson was born and raised in Augusta, Georgia and attended T. W. Josey High School. In 1989, Johnson graduated from Howard University with a bachelor's degree in consumer studies. He played four seasons on the Howard Bison football team and was a first-team All-Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference selection in 1988 as a senior. With Howard, Johnson made 73 catches for 1,229 yards and 16 touchdowns. Johnson was also a Two Time Sheridan Broadcasting Black College All-America in 1987 and 1988.
Johnson began his coaching career in 2001 as running backs coach at South Carolina State University. He then became the Offensive Coordinator/QB's and Wide Receivers coach at the NCAA Division II Shaw University in 2002 and 2003. From 2004 to 2005, Johnson was the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at Texas Southern University. In 2006, Johnson joined the Minnesota Vikings as the tight ends coach.He was let go by the Vikings at the end of the 2013 season after head coach Leslie Frazier was fired.
Johnson was named the New York Jets' tight end coach on January 29, 2015.
Michael Peter Tice is a former American football tight end and coach. He played college football at the University of Maryland, College Park and spent 14 seasons playing in the National Football League (NFL) before spending 22 seasons as a coach, including four seasons as the Minnesota Vikings head coach.
Michael Rene Mularkey is a former American football coach and tight end in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the University of Florida, and was drafted in the ninth round of the 1983 NFL Draft by the San Francisco 49ers, who cut him soon afterward. He then signed with the Minnesota Vikings with whom he played for six seasons before playing another three with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

An assistant in the NFL since 1995, he served as offensive coordinator for the Denver Broncos, Houston Texans (2010–2013), and Buffalo Bills (2017), and served as quarterbacks coach for the Baltimore Ravens in 2014. He was the special teams coach for the Super Bowl Champion Broncos in 1997 and 1998. A linebacker who spent his entire NFL playing career in Denver from 1982 to 1990, he appeared in Super Bowls XXI, XXII, and XXIV.
Tim Brewster is an American football coach and former player who is currently the tight ends coach for the University of Florida. He recently served as the tight ends coach and recruiting coordinator for the North Carolina Tar Heels football program. He was the head coach of the University of Minnesota from 2007 until he was fired midway through the Golden Gophers' 2010 season. In 2011, Brewster was a sideline analyst for Fox College Football and the NFL on Fox with Gus Johnson and Charles Davis.

Patrick Carl Shurmur is an American football coach who is the offensive coordinator for the Denver Broncos of the National Football League (NFL). A 32-year coaching veteran, Shurmur has 21 seasons of NFL experience, including the last 11 years as a head coach or offensive coordinator. Shurmur has four years of experience as a head coach, working in that role with the New York Giants from 2018–2019 and with the Cleveland Browns from 2011–2012. He also served as interim head coach for Philadelphia Eagles at the end of the 2015 season. He has been an offensive coordinator for seven seasons, previously coaching in that role with the Minnesota Vikings (2016–2017), Philadelphia Eagles (2013–2015) and the St. Louis Rams (2009–2010).

Anthony Joseph Sparano III was an American football coach. He served as the head coach of the Miami Dolphins and Oakland Raiders of the National Football League (NFL) and is the only NFL head coach to have led a team to the playoffs the year following a one-win season, and only the second to conduct a ten-game turnaround, both of which he accomplished in his first season with the Dolphins. He was fired by the Dolphins in December 2011 after a 4-9 start to the season, Sparano's worst start in his four-year tenure with the Dolphins.
Craig Johnson is an American football coach who was the running backs for the New York Giants of the National Football League (NFL). He was the quarterbacks coach for the Minnesota Vikings from 2011 to 2013. Prior to the Vikings, he was the quarterbacks coach for the Tennessee Titans from 2002 to 2009 and the running backs coach for the 2010 season. He will serve as an Analyst for the University of Maryland during the 2020 season.
