In 2022 and 2023, Concepcion took on the temporary role as a guitarist in the Swedish melodic death metal band Dark Tranquillity. [7] [8]

Concepcion became a permanent member of Arch Enemy in 2023 following Loomis' 'amicable' departure from the band, which was announced on 30 December 2023.
