Deceivers Asia Tour was a concert tour headlined by Swedish melodic death metal band Arch Enemy. The tour was announced on January 20, 2024 [1] and general ticket sales for the shows began on various dates within the following weeks. [2] The first show of the tour was April 24, 2024 in Seoul, South Korea and the closing night of the tour was May 23, 2024 in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Deceivers Asia Tour was the most extensive Asian tour in Arch Enemy's career, featuring 16 shows in 8 different countries. The band had previously performed in Indonesia and Malaysia once (in 2009 and 2012 respectively)
Deceivers Asia Tour was Arch Enemy's first tour in over eight months, following their European tour in summer 2023. This tour was also the band's first tour with new guitarist Joey Concepcion, who joined the band in December 2023 [3] following the departure of long-time guitarist Jeff Loomis. Concepcion performed with Arch Enemy twice in 2018, but the show in Seoul on April 24, 2024 was his first show as an official member of Arch Enemy. [4]
This was the final tour of the Deceivers album cycle, as the band's next tour (Rising from the North) would be in promotion of their next album, Blood Dynasty .
Arch Enemy offered VIP upgrades for the tour, allowing fans access to perks such as meeting the band, receiving exclusive merchandise and early entry to the venue. Arch Enemy's VIP upgrades were released alongside general ticket sales.
On May 10, 2024, it was announced via the band's social media profiles that their sold-out show at Mr. Fox Live House in Bangkok eleven days later was upgraded to the larger venue Hollywood Ratchada Soi 4.
The tour received many positive reviews from critics, who commented on the vocal prowess and stage presence of frontwoman Alissa White-Gluz, as well as visual elements such as lighting.
An impressive review of the "electrifying performance" in Manila on May 15 was written by Arielle Elep (for philippineconcerts.com). Elep observed the show's audience, noting "the Filipino crowd erupted into a frenzy of headbanging and occasional mosh pits", and praised the band's setlist full of old and new tunes, commenting that "each song [was] met with thunderous applause and fervent enthusiasm". Arch Enemy is a Swedish melodic death metal band, originally a supergroup from Halmstad, formed in 1995. Its members were in bands such as Carcass, Armageddon, Carnage, Mercyful Fate, Spiritual Beggars, The Agonist, Nevermore, and Eucharist. It was founded by Carcass guitarist Michael Amott along with Johan Liiva, who were both originally from the death metal band Carnage. The band has released eleven studio albums, three live albums, three video albums and four EPs. The band was originally fronted by Johan Liiva, who was replaced by German vocalist Angela Gossow in 2000. Gossow left the band in March 2014 to become the group's manager and was replaced by Canadian vocalist Alissa White-Gluz.
Sanctuary is an American heavy metal band, formed in 1985 in Seattle, Washington. They were broken up from 1992 to 2010. The band consists of Lenny Rutledge (guitar), Joseph Michael (vocals), George Hernandez (bass), and Dave Budbill (drums). The lead vocalist position was held by Warrel Dane until his death in 2017. They have released four studio albums and one live EP.
Michael Amott is a Swedish guitarist, founding member of the metal bands Arch Enemy, Spiritual Beggars and Carnage, as well as a former member of Carcass. He is the older brother of Christopher Amott.
Jeff Loomis is an American musician, best known for his role as lead guitarist in the progressive metal band Nevermore during its existence from 1991 to 2011, as well as brief tenures in its precursor, Sanctuary. In 2014, he joined Swedish melodic death metal band Arch Enemy, and in 2021 he joined Graham Bonnet's Alcatrazz as well. He left Arch Enemy in 2023. As a solo artist he has released two albums and one EP.
Angela Nathalie Gossow is a German vocalist, best known as the former lead singer for the Swedish melodic death metal band Arch Enemy. Her other previous bands include Asmodina and Mistress.
Christopher Amott is a Swedish guitarist, younger brother of Michael Amott and founding member of the metal bands Arch Enemy and Armageddon. He is most recently the former guitarist for Dark Tranquillity.
Mark Duane Morton is an American musician who is the lead guitarist and one of the founding members of the groove metal band Lamb of God.
Johan Patrik Mattias Liiva is a Swedish extreme metal vocalist, most widely recognized as the founding vocalist of melodic death metal band Arch Enemy, as well as a former member of Carnage, Furbowl and NonExist. He is currently working as vocalist with Hearse.
The Agonist was a Canadian metalcore and melodic death metal band from Montreal, Quebec, formed in 2004. The last known lineup consisted of lead guitarist Danny Marino, bassist Chris Kells, drummer Simon Mckay, rhythm guitarist Pascal "Paco" Jobin and lead vocalist Vicky Psarakis, who joined in March 2014 following the departure of vocalist and founding member Alissa White-Gluz.

Alissa White-Gluz is a Canadian singer, best known as the lead vocalist of the Swedish melodic death metal band Arch Enemy, and former lead vocalist and founding member of the Canadian metalcore band The Agonist. Her vocal style includes both growling and clean vocals (singing). Although primarily associated with melodic death metal and metalcore, she has appeared as a guest vocalist for power metal, symphonic metal and deathcore bands, notably Kamelot, Delain, Carnifex and Powerwolf, and has performed live with Nightwish and Tarja Turunen.
War Eternal is the ninth studio album by Swedish melodic death metal band Arch Enemy, which was released first in Japan on 4 June 2014 by Century Media. It is the first Arch Enemy album in 15 years since Burning Bridges to feature a new line-up; Alissa White-Gluz took over on vocals after former long-time vocalist Angela Gossow stepped down from vocal duties to be the band's business manager. Additionally, ex-Arsis guitarist Nick Cordle replaced Christopher Amott in 2012. Cordle ultimately left the band just before their European tour and was replaced by former Nevermore guitarist Jeff Loomis.
Joey Concepcion is an American guitarist, best known as a member of the melodic death metal band Arch Enemy, which he joined in 2023. Previously he has played with Armageddon, Dark Tranquillity, Dead by Wednesday and Sanctuary.
Metal Allegiance is an American thrash metal supergroup formed on Long Island, New York, in 2014 by bassist and songwriter Mark Menghi. Shortly after, he recruited bassist David Ellefson, guitarist Alex Skolnick, and drummer Mike Portnoy. Though the group does not have an official lead singer, they usually hire guest musicians to contribute vocals and/or guitar parts to their studio recordings and live shows, including Andreas Kisser of Sepultura and Mark Osegueda of Death Angel. To date, Metal Allegiance has released two studio albums and one EP.

Deceivers is Arch Enemy's first studio album since 2017's Will to Power, marking the longest gap between two of their studio albums. It is also the second and last studio album to feature guitarist Jeff Loomis before his departure from the band in 2023.
Rising from the North was a concert tour co-headlined by Swedish melodic death metal bands Arch Enemy and In Flames, with special guest Soilwork. The tour was announced on November 20, 2023 and general ticket sales for the shows began four days later. The first show of the tour was October 3, 2024 at O2 Academy Glasgow in Scotland, United Kingdom, and the closing night of the tour was November 5, 2024 at Helsinki Ice Hall in Finland.
Blood Dynasty is the upcoming twelfth studio album by Swedish melodic death metal band Arch Enemy. The album is scheduled for a 28 March 2025 release, and was announced on 4 October 2024. It is the first studio album to feature guitarist Joey Concepcion, following the departure of Jeff Loomis from the band in 2023.
Covered in Blood is a compilation album by Arch Enemy, featuring all 24 covers the band recorded and released from 1996 until 2019. This is the only official Arch Enemy release that features all three lead vocalists that the band has had – Johan Liiva, Angela Gossow and Alissa White-Gluz.
Largo Camino Al Inframundo... is an ongoing concert tour headlined by Swedish melodic death metal band Arch Enemy. The tour was announced on July 11, 2024 and general ticket sales for the shows began four days later. The first show of the tour was November 12, 2024 at Teatro Morelos in Toluca, and the closing night of the tour will be 11 December, 2024 at Circo Volador in Mexico City.
