John Kirby Alstrom (born March 29, 1942, in Fresno, California) is an American former volleyball player who competed in the 1968 Summer Olympics. [1] Alstrom was inducted into the Fresno County Athletic Hall of Fame in 1991. [2]

Baker served as the head football coach at Iowa State Teachers College—now known as the University of Northern Iowa—from 1933 to 1934, the University of Denver from 1948 to 1952, and Sacramento State College—now known as California State University, Sacramento—from 1957 to 1960, compiling a career college football coaching record of 41–61–4. He was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame as a player in 1983.

Laura Kay Berg is an American college softball head coach for Oregon State and a former collegiate four-time All-American and Olympian. She played for the Fresno State Bulldogs from 1994–98, where she won the 1998 Women's College World Series and owns the Western Athletic Conference career records in hits, runs and triples. She is one of only four women to have won four Olympic medals in softball, having won a medal at every Olympics the sport was contested. She is second all-time in NCAA Division I career hits and at-bats. She is also a USA Softball Hall of Fame honoree.

Aaron LeRenze Craver is a former American football running back and kick returner in the National Football League (NFL) for the Miami Dolphins, Denver Broncos, San Diego Chargers, and the New Orleans Saints. The Dolphins drafted him in the third round of the 1991 NFL Draft. He played college football at Fresno State University. He is the only football player to catch a touchdown pass from John Elway and Dan Marino. In 2006, he was inducted into the Fresno County Athletic Hall of Fame. Aaron Craver is currently the track and field and football coach at Woodbridge High School in Irvine, California.

Ronald Eugene Cox is a former American football linebacker who played eight seasons in the National Football League (NFL) with the Chicago Bears and the Green Bay Packers. He started as middle linebacker for the champion Green Bay Packers in Super Bowl XXXI as they beat the New England Patriots. In 2001, Cox was inducted into the Fresno County Athletic Hall of Fame.

Carole Anne Ormaca Butler is an American former pair skater who competed with Robin Greiner. The duo won the gold medal at the United States Figure Skating Championships four straight times, beginning in 1953. They also placed fourth at the World Figure Skating Championships three times and finished in fifth place at the 1956 Winter Olympic Games.

Robinson Lewis Greiner, Jr. was an American pair skater. With Carole Ormaca, he was a four-time consecutive U.S. national champion, from 1953 to 1956. They placed fourth at three World Championships and finished fifth at the 1956 Winter Olympics.

Marjorie Ann Wright is a former college softball coach. She was the head softball coach at California State University, Fresno—more commonly known as Fresno State—from 1986 to 2012. She led the Fresno State Bulldogs to the NCAA national softball championship in 1998 and is the NCAA's second all-time winningest softball coach. She also ranks second all-time in career victories among NCAA Division I coaches in all sports. She was inducted into the National Fastpitch Coaches Association Hall of Fame in 2000 and the International Women's Sports Hall of Fame in 2001. She retired at the end of the 2012 season.

Richard Douglas "Rick" Earley is an American former diver who competed in the 1972 Summer Olympics. He was born in Redlands, California. In 1991, Earley was inducted into the Fresno County Athletic Hall of Fame.

Morgan Groth is an American former middle distance runner who competed in the 1964 Summer Olympics. Oregon state university set the world record in the 2 mile relay with a time of 7:18.9 at the West Coast Relays in Fresno, California. Morgan Groth ran the anchor and NCAA half mile champion, Norm Hoffman, joined Groth to set the world record. Morgan Groth also won the first ever Golden West Invitational with a national mile record of 4:10.0 in 1961. The top ten senior mile runners in the US were invited. He later ran for the Quantico Marines.

Charles "Charlie" Craig is an American track and field coach and former triple jumper. He was the gold medalist at the 1967 Pan American Games and was an American champion both indoors and outdoors.
