Jomel Andrel Warrican (born 20 May 1992) is a West Indian cricketer. He is a slow left-arm orthodox bowler and a right-handed tail-end batsman. [1]
In September 2015 he was named in the Test squad for the West Indies tour to Sri Lanka. [2] He made his Test debut against Sri Lanka on 22 October 2015,taking 4 wickets for 67 runs on the first day. [3]
Born in Saint Vincent,Warrican moved to Barbados and attended Combermere School and joined the Empire Cricket Club. He was awarded the Lord Gavron Award for promising young cricketers in Barbados alongside Jason Holder in 2009 [4] before representing the West Indies at the 2010 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup. [5] He was the second Gavron Award winner to spend a season playing for Sefton Park in the Liverpool and District Cricket Competition in 2011, [6] taking 51 wickets and scoring 373 runs. [7] Warrican continued to impress on his return to the Caribbean and made his first-class debut for Barbados in March 2012 although a regular place wasn't claimed until his success in the 2014 season when he both led the BCA Elite Cricket league wicket-takers and broke the record for a slow bowler as he helped Empire to win the 3-day game championship. [8] This form was carried in the Regional Four Day Competition where he took 49 wickets including two 8 wicket hauls. [9]
In June 2020,Warrican was named as one of eleven reserve players in the West Indies' Test squad,for their series against England. [10] The Test series was originally scheduled to start in May 2020,but was moved back to July 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. [11]
Joel Garner is a former West Indian cricketer,and a member of the highly regarded late 1970s and early 1980s West Indies cricket teams. Garner is the highest ranked One Day International bowler according to the ICC best-ever bowling ratings,and is 37th in Tests. Garner was a member of the West Indies teams that won their second world title in the 1979 Cricket World Cup as well as finishing as runners-up at the 1983 Cricket World Cup.
Herath Mudiyanselage Rangana Keerthi Bandara Herath,known as Rangana Herath,is a former Sri Lankan cricketer,who played all forms of cricket game and a former Test cricket captain for Sri Lanka. Herath is the most successful left arm bowler in Test cricket history. He worked as spin bowling consultant with the Bangladesh cricket team. Herath was a member of the Sri Lankan team that won the 2014 ICC World Twenty20.
Mahawaduge Dilruwan Kamalaneth Perera is a former Sri Lankan international cricketer,who played for Sri Lanka in all formats of the game. He plays domestically for the Colts Cricket Club. Perera is a right-arm offbreak bowler and right-handed batsman. Started as an opening batsman,Perera is the quickest Sri Lankan bowler to reach both 50 and 100 Test wickets in Sri Lanka. Dilruwan is a past student of Sri Sumangala College.
Kraigg Clairmonte Brathwaite is a Barbadian cricketer who captains the West Indies in Test cricket. He is a right-handed batsman and occasionally bowls off breaks. On 6 November 2011,he became only the second West Indian to score two Test fifties before his 19th birthday when he made 63 (212) against India in Delhi. He has also effectively stood as stand-in-captain in place of Jason Holder in seven test matches before becoming the permanent captain of the test team taking over from Holder. He idolises Shivnarine Chanderpaul and his batting style.

Jason Omar Holder is a Barbadian cricketer and the former captain of the West Indies cricket team. He is a right arm medium-fast bowling all-rounder who features in all three cricketing formats. In January 2019,he was ranked as the number one all rounder in the world according to the official ICC Test rankings. In August 2019,Cricket West Indies named him as the Test Player of the Year and on 14 April 2021,Holder was named one of Wisden's Five Cricketers of the Year. Holder is the first West Indian male cricketer to take a hat-trick in a T20I,and the fifth,to achieve both 2000 runs and 100 wickets in one day internationals. He is also the second West Indian,after Sir Garfield Sobers,to attain both 2500 runs and 150 wickets in test match cricket. Holder was a member of the West Indies team that won the 2016 T20 World Cup.

A right-arm off-break bowler,Cornwall has played for Leeward Islands cricket team and featured in the line-up for the Antigua Hawksbills in the Caribbean Premier League. In August 2019,Cricket West Indies named him as the Championship Player of the Year. Later the same month,he made his international debut for the West Indies cricket team. He also set the record for the heaviest cricketer to play Test cricket,weighing more than 140 kg. For the Leewards Islands,he is their second highest wicket-taker in both First Class and List A cricket,while only Kieran Powell has scored more than his four List A hundreds for the side.
Miguel Lamar Cummins is a Barbadian cricketer who has played in 14 Test matches and 11 One Day Internationals (ODI) for the West Indies.
Shai Diego Hope is a Barbadian cricketer,who plays as a wicketkeeper/batsman for the West Indies cricket team. He is also the current ODI captain of the Windies. In June 2018,he was named the Men's Cricketer of the Year,Test Cricketer of the Year and the ODI Cricketer of the Year at the annual Cricket West Indies' Awards. The following year,he was named the CWI ODI Player of the Year. He is generally regarded as one of the best ODI batsmen in the contemporary cricketing world. Hope has also twice been named,for both 2020 and 2022,in the ICC ODI Team of the Year.

He has featured for the West Indies,Barbados along with CPL teams St Kitts and Nevis Patriots and Barbados Tridents in his cricketing career. The West Indies cricket team toured Sri Lanka in October/November 2015 to play two Tests,three One Day Internationals (ODIs) and two Twenty20 International (T20I) matches. Starting with this series,all bilateral Test tours between the West Indies and Sri Lanka will be called the Sobers–Tissera Trophy. Hasan Ali is a Pakistani cricketer who plays for the national team in all formats. He made his first-class debut for Sialkot in October 2013. He made his international debut for Pakistan in August 2016 in a One Day International (ODI) match against Ireland. The following summer,he was named in Pakistan's squad for the 2017 ICC Champions Trophy. Aged only 17 on debut,he opened the bowling with Christopher Powell,taking 1/20 from four overs.
