Datuk Joseph Entulu Belaun (born 8 June 1954) is a Malaysian politician. He was a Minister in the Prime Minister's Department and a Member of Parliament (MP) for the Selangau constituency in Sarawak,representing the Sarawak People's Party (PRS) from 2004 until the dissolution of the Parliament on 7 April 2018.
Entulu was elected to Parliament in the 2004 general elections. Immediately after his election in 2004,Entulu was appointed to the federal level as Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister's Department. [1] Before his election into the Dewan Rakyat,he was Assistant Minister to the Chief Minister of Sarawak from 1997 to 2002 and later was promoted as full minister holding the portfolio of Youth and Sports from 2002 until 2004. [2] He was first elected to Parliament as a member of the Sarawak Native People's Party (PBDS), [3] but joined the PRS after the Parti Bansa Dayak Sarawak (PBDS) was deregistered in 2004. [4]
Entulu was re-elected unopposed to Parliament in the 2008 general elections. [5] Following the 2008 general elections he became Deputy Minister of Rural and Regional Development and in October 2008,he was also conferred the title of Datuk. [6]
He has spoken out against the use of the term Dayak as a generic descriptor of Sarawak's indigenous non-Muslim residents,preferring instead specific terms for each community in 2009. [7]
After he was re-elected again in the 2013 general elections,Entulu was promoted to a full minister as a Minister in the Prime Minister's Department. [8]
On 13 May 2018,People's Justice Party (PKR) Women chief Zuraida Kamaruddin announced that Entulu has joined its ranks as a PKR party member in a press conference in Cheras. [9]
Entulu has joined Parti Sarawak Bersatu (PSB) since March 2019,but now he has since joined the Progressive Democratic Party (PDP) en bloc ever since the latter party was dissolved and merged in March 2024. [10] [11] Prior to that,he was the Deputy President of the PRS until his sacking in April 2018,which was announced by the PRS President Dr. James Jemut Masing. [12]

The Sarawak Native People's Party or Malay:Parti Bansa Dayak Sarawak was a political party in the state of Sarawak in Malaysia. It was established in 1983,by Datuk Amar Leo Moggie Irok,after seceding from Sarawak National Party (SNAP) following his loss in the contest for the SNAP's president post against Datuk Amar James Wong Kim Ming.
The Malaysian Dayak Congress (MDC) or Malay:Kongres Dayak Malaysia is a political party in based in Sarawak,Malaysia representing the Dayak indigenous population. The MDC submitted the relevant documents to the Registrar of Societies (ROS) for registration on 6 May 2005. It is formed by group of supporters and leaders of the deregistered and defunct Parti Bansa Dayak Sarawak (PBDS) where most of them are supporters of the ex-Deputy President of PBDS,Datuk Seri Daniel Tajem who has involved in the 2003-2004 internal party leadership crisis. As a result of the tussle of the PBDS internal leadership which Daniel Tajem supposedly take over but was disagreed by the party information chief,Daniel Tajem has caused PBDS to deregistered twice;on 5 December 2003 and 21 October 2004 by ROS. After the crisis and dissolution of PBDS,James Jemut Masing's group has formed and founded a new party Sarawak People's Party (PRS) that has joined the Barisan Nasional (BN) coalition. Meanwhile attempt for the registration of MDC by Daniel Tajem's group was declined by the Ministry of Home Affairs (KDN) through its letters dated 9 April 2008 informing ROS decision on 19 July 2006 has rejected MDC application due to "Public Order and Security" under Article 7 of Societies Act 1966. The pro tem committee of MDC has submitted their appeal on 12 August 2006,however up until now,the party never received its status as legal political party's status in Malaysia from ROS. The delay and reluctance of ROS to approve the registration of MDC has caused its pro tem committee deadlocked in their effort since they decided not to bring their case to the Judicial Court and just to leave their fate to god and ROS on 28 June 2008.
The ninth Sarawak state election was held on Saturday,20 May 2006 with nomination day on Tuesday,9 May 2006. The election functioned to elect 71 representatives to the Sarawak State Assembly. The eighth state assembly was dissolved by Yang di-Pertua Negeri Sarawak,Tun Abang Muhammad Salahuddin Abang Barieng by the advice of Chief Minister Abdul Taib Mahmud,on 24 April 2006.
The Sarawak National Party known by its acronym as "SNAP",is now a defunct political party in Malaysia. It was a member party of the Alliance Party from 1963 to 1966 and a member of Barisan Nasional (BN) coalition from 1976 until its expulsion in 2004. It contested the General Election in 2004 as well as the Sarawak state elections of 2006 and 2011 as an opposition party.

William Nyallau Badak is a Malaysian politician who served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Lubok Antu from March 2008 to May 2018. He is an independent in support for the ruling Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) coalition and was a member of the opposition Parti Sarawak Bersatu (PSB) and of the Parti Rakyat Sarawak (PRS),a component party of the ruling Barisan Nasional (BN) coalition. He was elected to Parliament in the 2008 election,replacing long-serving incumbent Jawah Gerang. Before entering Parliament,he was a Native Court judge. He joined PSB in 2019 after he was sacked from PRS on 22 April 2018 and dropped as a candidate in the 2018 general election. In 2021 Sarawak state election,he contested for the Batang Ai state seat as a PSB candidate but lost. On 8 November 2022,he left PSB and pledged his support for GPS.
Douglas Uggah Embas is a Malaysian politician who has served as Deputy Premier of Sarawak since 2016. He has been Member of the Sarawak State Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Bukit Saban since 2016,having previously been Member of Parliament (MP) for Betong from 1986 to 2018. Datuk Joseph Salang Gandum is a Malaysian politician and former bank officer who served as the Deputy Minister of Information,Communications and Culture,Deputy Minister of Energy,Water and Communications and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs in the Barisan Nasional (BN) administration under former Prime Ministers Abdullah Ahmad Badawi,Najib Razak and former Ministers Rais Yatim,Shaziman Abu Mansor,Ahmad Shabery Cheek and Syed Hamid Albar from March 2004 to May 2013 as well as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Julau from November 1999 to May 2018. He is a member of the Parti Rakyat Sarawak (PRS),a component party of the ruling Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) and formerly BN coalitions and was a member of the Parti Bansa Dayak Sarawak (PBDS),also a component party of the BN coalition. He has served as the 2nd President of PRS since October 2021,when he has served in official capacity since April 2022 and in acting capacity from October 2021 to April 2022. He also served as the Deputy President of PRS from October 2018 to his official promotion to the party presidency in October 2021 and Secretary-General of PRS from October 2016 to his promotion to party deputy presidency in October 2018. In addition,he was also previously one of the vice-presidents of PRS,prior to being made party secretary-general.
Dato Sri Aaron Ago anak Dagang is a Malaysian politician who has served as the Minister of National Unity in the Unity Government administration under Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim since December 2022 and the Member of Parliament (MP) for Kanowit since March 2004. The Parti Rakyat Sarawak or PRS is a multiracialist &nationalist political party in Sarawak and Malaysia overall. The party was founded in the wake of the de-registration of the Parti Bansa Dayak Sarawak and later Sarawak National Party in December 2003 by a breakaway faction led by the late Tan Sri Dr. James Jemut Masing and Dato' Sng Chee Hua. It is one of the former constituent members of the Barisan Nasional. PRS is currently the second largest local political party in Sarawak,after PBB. Following the fall of BN in the 2018 general election and in the aftermath of meeting between all Sarawak-based BN coalition parties on 12 June 2018,PRS left the coalition to form a new Sarawak-based coalition of Sarawak Parties Alliance. As of August 2023,the party's membership population is only 348,700 members. Currently,there are 135 Parti Rakyat Sarawak (PRS) branches which are actively found throughout Sarawak.
Baru Bian is a Malaysian politician and lawyer who has served as Member of the Sarawak State Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Ba'kelalan since April 2011. He served as the Minister of Works in the Pakatan Harapan (PH) administration under former Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad from July 2018 to the collapse of the PH administration in February 2020 and the Member of Parliament (MP) for Selangau from May 2018 to November 2022. He is a member of the Progressive Democratic Party (PDP),a component party of the Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) coalition and was a member of the Parti Sarawak Bersatu (PSB),People's Justice Party (PKR),a component party of the PH and formerly Pakatan Rakyat (PR) coalitions. He has also served as the Vice President of PDP since April 2024. He also served as the State Chairman of PKR of Sarawak from December 2009 to his resignation from the party in February 2020. He became the first ever federal minister of the Lun Bawang ethnicity in the Malaysian history.

Datuk Willie anak Mongin is a Malaysian politician,software engineer and technopreneur who has served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Puncak Borneo since May 2018. Datuk Larry Sng Wei Shien,is a Taiwanese-born Malaysian politician who has served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Julau since May 2018. He served as Member of the Sarawak State Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Pelagus from September 2001 to April 2011. He was previously the State Chairman of the People's Justice Party (PKR) of Sarawak,a component party of the Pakatan Harapan (PH) coalition. On 28 February 2021,he left PKR to become an independent again and declared support for the ruling Perikatan Nasional (PN) coalition. He is currently the President of Parti Bangsa Malaysia (PBM) and has served in this role since January 2022. Following the 2022 general election,he is presently the sole PBM MP and his party is aligned to the Unity Government.
