Judy Howat (born 1936) is a former international lawn bowler from New Zealand. [2]

Bowls career

She won a gold medal in the women's pairs with Marie Watson at the 1990 Commonwealth Games in Auckland. [3] [4]

Two years later she won a silver medal in the fours at the 1992 World Outdoor Bowls Championship in Ayr. [5]

She won five medals at the Asia Pacific Bowls Championships. [6] [1]

Howat won the 1988 singles title, the 1999 pairs title and the 2000 fours title at the New Zealand National Bowls Championships when bowling for the Wellington Bowls Club. [7]

Awards

She was inducted into the Sport Legends of Wellington. [8]
