Jules Liam Bernard (born January 21, 2000 [1] ) is an American professional basketball for the Cleveland Charge of the NBA G League. He played college basketball for the UCLA Bruins.
Bernard played basketball for Windward School in Los Angeles. [2] As a junior, he averaged 25.3 points and 13.7 rebounds per game. In his senior season, Bernard averaged 26.4 points and 14.2 rebounds per game. [3] He competed for the Compton Magic on the Amateur Athletic Union circuit. [4] A consensus four-star recruit, he committed to playing college basketball for UCLA in October 2017 over offers from Kansas, USC, Oregon and Miami (Florida). [5] He was attracted to the Bruins by their program's history and head coach Steve Alford being open to playing skilled freshmen. [6]
As a freshman at UCLA, Bernard averaged 7.6 points and 3.1 rebounds per game. [7] In his sophomore season, he averaged 5.5 points and 2.6 rebounds per game. [8] On March 3, 2021, he scored a career-high 23 points in an 82–72 loss to Oregon. [9] As a junior, Bernard averaged 10.3 points and 5.1 rebounds per game. [10]
In his senior year in 2021–22, he continued to decrease his turnovers after nearly committing twice as many turnovers as assists in his first two seasons. [1] He had a season-high 22 points in each of the Bruins' two games against Long Beach State. [11] [12] Bernard ended the season with nine consecutive games scoring in double figures, including a team-high 16 points in UCLA's season-ending loss to North Carolina in the Sweet Sixteen of the 2022 NCAA tournament. [13] [14] As a senior, Bernard averaged 12.8 points and 4.7 rebounds per game.
After the season, he declared for the NBA draft, but did not hire an agent to maintain his college eligibility; the NCAA allowed an extra year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. [15] He was invited to the NBA G League Elite Camp but did not receive an invitation to the NBA Draft Combine. He had a workout with the Los Angeles Lakers before deciding to remain in the draft, minutes before the deadline to return to school. [16] [17]
After going undrafted in the 2022 NBA draft, Bernard played with the Detroit Pistons in the 2022 NBA Summer League. [18] He scored in double digits once in the first four games before scoring a team-high 22 points in the finale, including 14 points in the third quarter. [19] He was later added to the Pistons' training camp roster after signing an Exhibit 10 contract. [20] Bernard played in three of the team's four preseason games before being released. [21] He was later named to the training camp roster for the Motor City Cruise, the Pistons' G League affiliate. [22]
On December 22, 2022, Bernard was traded from the Motor City to the Capital City Go-Go. [23]
On October 1, 2023, Bernard signed with the Washington Wizards, [24] but was waived on October 19. [25] On October 30, he returned to Capital City. [26]
On December 8, 2023, Bernard signed a two-way contract with the Washington Wizards. [27] On the same day, Bernard made his NBA debut for the Wizards in a 124–97 loss to the Brooklyn Nets.
On September 24, 2024, Bernard signed with the Cleveland Cavaliers, [28] but was waived on October 19. [29] On October 26, he joined the Cleveland Charge. [30]

Trevor Anthony Ariza is an American former professional basketball player who spent 18 seasons in the National Basketball Association (NBA). A small forward, Ariza played college basketball for one season with the UCLA Bruins before being selected in the second round of the 2004 NBA draft by the New York Knicks. Ariza won an NBA championship with the Los Angeles Lakers in 2009. LiAngelo Robert Ball is an American professional basketball player who last played for the Astros de Jalisco. Ball played for Chino Hills High School in California, where he won a state championship and achieved national success as a junior with his brothers Lonzo and LaMelo, who are both current NBA guards. A three-star recruit and UCLA signee, he decided to forgo college basketball after being suspended for shoplifting in China before the 2017–18 season. In turn, Ball signed with Lithuanian professional team Prienai. He later played in the Junior Basketball Association (JBA), a league founded by his father, before joining the G League at the end of 2019–20. He was briefly signed to the Detroit Pistons in late 2020, but was waived prior to the start of the 2020–21 season. Ball joined the Greensboro Swarm in 2021.
Christopher Ike Anigbogu is an American professional basketball player for the Birmingham Squadron of the NBA G League. He played college basketball for one season with the UCLA Bruins. As a freshman, he was a key reserve for a Bruins squad that advanced to the Sweet 16 of the NCAA tournament. After the season, Anigbogu was selected by the Indiana Pacers in the second round of the 2017 NBA draft with the 47th overall pick. He played two seasons for the Pacers.
Shareef Rashaun O'Neal is an American professional basketball player who last played for the NBA G League Ignite of the NBA G League. The son of Hall of Fame player Shaquille O'Neal, he attended Crossroads School in Santa Monica, California. As a senior forward, O'Neal was ranked among the top high school basketball players of his class. He was a redshirt during his first season in college basketball with the UCLA Bruins, when he underwent heart surgery. He played as a reserve for the Bruins in 2019–20 before transferring midseason to the LSU Tigers.
Jaylen Joseph Hands is an American professional basketball player for Pallacanestro Varese of the Lega Basket Serie A (LBA). He played college basketball for the UCLA Bruins. As a high school senior in 2017, he was selected to play in the McDonald's All-American Game, and was ranked as a consensus five-star prospect and the No. 3 point guard in the country in the class of 2017 by all major scouting services, including ESPN and 247Sports. Hands earned second-team All-Pac-12 honors in his sophomore year with UCLA in 2019. He was selected in the second round of the 2019 NBA draft by the Los Angeles Clippers with the 56th pick before being traded to the Brooklyn Nets. He played a season in the NBA G League with Brooklyn's affiliate, the Long Island Nets before beginning his European career in 2021.

Jonathan Anh Juzang is an American professional basketball player for the Utah Jazz of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He began his college basketball career playing one season with the Kentucky Wildcats before transferring and spending two seasons with the UCLA Bruins. A two-time all-conference selection in the Pac-12, Juzang earned third-team All-American honors as a junior in 2022. As a sophomore, he was named to the All-Tournament Team of the 2021 NCAA tournament, as the Bruins advanced to the Final Four.

Jaylen Bryce Clark is an American professional basketball player for the Minnesota Timberwolves of the National Basketball Association (NBA), on a two-way contract with the Iowa Wolves of the NBA G League. He played college basketball for the UCLA Bruins of the Pac-12 Conference, earning national honors as both the Naismith Defensive Player of the Year and NABC Defensive Player of the Year as a junior in 2023, when he was also voted the Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Year. A two-time Pac-12 All-Defensive Team selection, Clark was named second-team All-Pac-12 as well that year. He was selected by the Timberwolves in the second round of the 2023 NBA draft.
