Kępa Rybińska [ˈkɛmpa rɨˈbiɲska] is a settlement in the administrative district of Gmina Stegna, within Nowy Dwór Gdański County, Pomeranian Voivodeship, in northern Poland. [1] It lies approximately 12 kilometres (7 mi) north of Nowy Dwór Gdański and 30 km (19 mi) east of the regional capital Gdańsk.

Gmina Stegna is a rural gmina in Nowy Dwór Gdański County, Pomeranian Voivodeship, in northern Poland. Its seat is the village of Stegna, which lies approximately 13 kilometres (8 mi) north of Nowy Dwór Gdański and 32 km (20 mi) east of the regional capital Gdańsk.
Nowy Dwór Gdański County is a unit of territorial administration and local government (powiat) in Pomeranian Voivodeship, northern Poland, on the Baltic coast. It came into being on January 1, 1999, as a result of the Polish local government reforms passed in 1998. Its administrative seat and largest town is Nowy Dwór Gdański, which lies 36 kilometres (22 mi) south-east of the regional capital Gdańsk. The only other town in the county is Krynica Morska, lying 29 km (18 mi) north-east of Nowy Dwór Gdański, on the Vistula Spit.

The 1793 Second Partition of Poland was the second of three partitions that ended the existence of the Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth by 1795. The second partition occurred in the aftermath of the Polish–Russian War of 1792 and the Targowica Confederation of 1792, and was approved by its territorial beneficiaries, the Russian Empire and the Kingdom of Prussia. The division was ratified by the coerced Polish parliament (Sejm) in 1793 in a short-lived attempt to prevent the inevitable complete annexation of Poland, the Third Partition.

The Free City of Danzig was a semi-autonomous city-state that existed between 1920 and 1939, consisting of the Baltic Sea port of Danzig and nearly 200 towns and villages in the surrounding areas. It was created on 15 November 1920 in accordance with the terms of Article 100 of the 1919 Treaty of Versailles after the end of World War I.
