KLJX-LP ("KJACK", 107.1 FM) is a student-run college radio station serving the Northern Arizona University campus in Flagstaff, Arizona, United States. The station broadcasts a variety of music in a freeform format, as well as campus and high school sports coverage. The station operates out of the NAU School of Communication on the school's Flagstaff campus.

About KJACK

KJACK is run by the students of Northern Arizona University, with students hosting shows in one-hour blocks featuring music, sports, pop culture, politics and news. In 2013, the station applied to the FCC for an FM broadcasting license. [1] KJACK was granted an FM construction permit to broadcast on 107.1 FM with the call letters KLJX-LP, and was issued its license to cover on November 23, 2015. As of 2020, the station manager is Jimmy Moreau. [2] [3] The station hosts an annual arts festival in downtown Flagstaff and [4] [5] broadcasts NAU's D2 and D3 hockey games. [6]

WRPI is a non-commercial free-format college radio station run entirely by students attending Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and staffed by community members and students. WRPI broadcasts 365 days a year with an effective radiated power of 10,000 watts, serving listeners in Albany, eastern New York, western Massachusetts, Vermont, and via webstream. The studios are located in the basement of the Darrin Communications Center and the FM signal is broadcast from North Greenbush. Programming includes a wide range of music, cultural and public affairs programs, live bands, special events, and sports simulcasts, particularly of RPI hockey, football, and baseball. WXSU-LP is the student-run radio station at Salisbury University in Salisbury, Maryland. The station, formerly known as WSUR, was forced to change call letters when registering with the FCC because of an existing television station with those call letters in Puerto Rico. WXSU-LP first went live to the Salisbury community in 2005 with a low power, 100 watt signal. The station currently operates during the Fall and Spring semesters from Late August to Mid-May.

WRMC-FM is the full power, student-volunteer-run radio station of Middlebury College. WRMC broadcasts a variety of content types, including talk, news, and radio drama, although the vast majority of the schedule is music of all genres. Shows are produced largely by student DJ's, although staff, faculty, and other members of the college and town community contribute content on occasion. Most shows last from one to two hours and generally air once a week. WRMC airs a reduced schedule during the summer, which includes shows produced by each of Middlebury College's summer language schools, broadcast entirely in the language of that school. The station also produces an annual music festival, called Sepomana.

The Northern Arizona Lumberjacks men's basketball team represents Northern Arizona University, located in Flagstaff, Arizona, in NCAA Division I men's competition. The school's team has competed in the Big Sky Conference since 1970. The team's most recent appearance in the NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Tournament was in 2000. The Lumberjacks are currently led by interim head coach Shane Burcar who replaced Jack Murphy in June 2019 after his departure for Arizona. Murphy took over as head coach in April 2012 after a disastrous season in which previous head coach Mike Adras resigned in December and the team lost its final 16 games. All NAU Lumberjack basketball games are broadcast on KAFF Country Legends 93.5/AM 930 in Flagstaff, Fun Oldies 1450 AM/100.9 in Prescott and Money Radio 1510AM in Phoenix, with commentary provided by the "Voice of the Lumberjacks" Mitch Strohman, Coach Dave Brown with the play-by-play and Dave Zorn, host of the NAU Halftime Report.
