Located in the Northeastern part of the state, the city is situated along the southern shore of Lake Erie, across the U.S. maritime border with Canada and approximately 60 miles west of the Ohio-Pennsylvania state border. Haltom City is a city, part of the Dallas–Fort Worth region, in Tarrant County, Texas, United States. Its population was 42,409 at the 2010 census. Haltom City is an inner suburb of Fort Worth, a principal city of the DFW Metroplex. The city is 6 miles from downtown Fort Worth, 30 miles from the American Airlines Center in Dallas, and 20 miles from the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport in Irving. Haltom City is surrounded almost entirely by Fort Worth, North Richland Hills, Watauga, and Richland Hills.

Streetsboro High School is a public high school in Streetsboro, Ohio, United States. It is the only high school in the Streetsboro City School District and had an enrollment of 577 students in the 2015–16 school year. The school was first established in 1902, but closed in 1950; it was re-established in 1962. The current facility was completed in December 2016 and opened for classes in January 2017. Athletic teams are known as the Rockets and school colors are blue and gold. Streetsboro High School is the home of high school radio station WSTB, branded "88.9 The Alternation".

WDIS was a radio station licensed to Norfolk, Massachusetts. It served the suburban communities south of Boston and north of Providence, Rhode Island. It had a daytime-only 1,000-watt signal that reached as far west as Worcester, Massachusetts, giving it a coverage area of almost a half-million people. As of June 13, 2014, WDIS was silent. The FCC cancelled the license and deleted the call sign for WDIS on October 13, 2015.
