Kahnuyeh (Persian : كهنويه‎, also Romanized as Kahnūyeh; also known as Hakku and Ḩakū)^[1] is a village in Seyfabad Rural District, in the Central District of Khonj County, Fars Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 1,073, in 194 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Seyfabad Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in the Central District of Khonj County, Fars Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 8,091, in 1,623 families. The rural district has 22 villages.
