Odisha, formerly Orissa, is an Indian state located in Eastern India. It is the 8th largest state by area, and the 11th largest by population. The state has the third largest population of Scheduled Tribes in India. It neighbours the states of West Bengal and Jharkhand to the north, Chhattisgarh to the west, Andhra Pradesh to the south, and a very negligible border with Telangana to the southwest. Odisha has a coastline of 485 kilometres (301 mi) along the Bay of Bengal. The region is also known as Utkala and is mentioned in India's national anthem, "Jana Gana Mana". The language of Odisha is Odia, which is one of the Classical Languages of India.
Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) is a government owned steel producer based in New Delhi, India. It is under the ownership of Ministry of Steel, Government of India with an annual turnover of INR 68,452 Crore for fiscal year 2020–21. Incorporated on 24 January 1973, SAIL has 63,433 employees. With an annual production of 16.30 million metric tons, SAIL is the 20th largest steel producer in the world and the largest in India. The Hot Metal production capacity of the company will further increase and is expected to reach a level of 50 million tonnes per annum by 2025. Smt Soma Mondal is the current Chairman of SAIL.

Simdega is a city in the Indian state of Jharkhand. Simdega is the administrative headquarters of the eponymous district and Subdivision. Tensa is a Town Wonder Natural Hill Station in Sundargarh District in the Indian state of Odisha. It has been declared the best mine by the Director General of Mines Safety, Govt. of India. Its origins are unknown, but it is believed it was tribal settlement prior to industrialization. In 1960 is came under the auspices of Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) Iron Mines. The township and ore processing plant were inaugurated by then governor of Odisha, Honourable Shri Yeshwant Narayan Sukthankar, on 25 April 1961.
