[1] It lies approximately 12 kilometres (7 mi) south of Chojnice and 113 km (70 mi) south-west of the regional capital Gdańsk.

The county also contains the towns of Czersk, lying 30 km (19 mi) east of Chojnice, and Brusy, 24 km (15 mi) north-east of Chojnice.
