Karen A. White was the Regional Chancellor of the University of South Florida St. Petersburg from 2003 to 2009. She was appointed to the position in July 2003 by University of South Florida President Judy Genshaft, and stepped down in the end of 2008 and beginning of 2009. [1] Prior to this appointment, White was the Dean of the College of Fine Arts and the Professor of Music at the University of Nebraska at Omaha from 1993 to July 2003. White was also the Executive Assistant to the Chancellor of the University of Maryland System, a consultant to the National Association of State Universities and Land-Grant Colleges on urban and metropolitan university issues, Assistant to the President at Wright State University, and Professor of Music at Southeastern Louisiana University. White is from Joplin, Missouri where she earned the baccalaureate degree in music education from the University of Arkansas and a masters and doctorate of musical arts from the University of Arizona. University of South Florida Tampa Library

The University of South Florida Tampa Library is the main research library for the University of South Florida. Housing over 1.3 million books, academic journals and electronic resources, including 52,000 e-journal subscriptions, 443,000 e-books, and over 800 databases, the library has more than 2 million visitors each year. The library offers tutoring and writing services, laptops, a career resource center, and course reserves. The facility houses several special and digital collections, including literature, oral histories, photographs, artifacts, and the university archives. The current Dean of USF Libraries is Todd Chavez.

He is currently Dean and Professor at Louisiana State University College of the Coast and Environment and since 1992 has been an Elected Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science.

Sophia Wisniewska is a university administrator and a former chancellor of University of South Florida St. Petersburg and Pennsylvania State Brandywine. Earlier in her career, she worked for her alma mater, Pennsylvania State University, and later served as the dean of Temple University Ambler.

South Florida Bulls sailing

The South Florida Bulls sailing team represents the University of South Florida in the sport of sailing. The team competes in the South Atlantic Intercollegiate Sailing Association within the Inter-Collegiate Sailing Association. The Bulls are coached by Allison Jolly, gold medalist in the first Olympic women's sailing event at the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul. She has coached the team since 2004. The team's home venue is the Donald A. Haney Landing Sailing Center on the University of South Florida St. Petersburg campus. It is the university's only varsity sport based on the St. Petersburg campus.
