Karim bin Mansor is the state legislative assembly member of Selangor representing Tanjung Sepat. He is a local leader who initiated the popular "homestay" project in Tanjung Sepat and created a business oriented kampung for the benefits of the people in the Tanjung Sepat and Morib area. [1]
Being a Malay Muslim does not deter Dr Karim Mansor to be a friend and act as a protector to the Orang Asli tribes in Selangor. Dr. Karim Mansor has been invited to many of the events organized or attended by many of the Orang Asli Tribes and association. [2]
Orang Asli are a heterogeneous indigenous population forming a national minority in Malaysia. They are the oldest inhabitants of Peninsular Malaysia.
The National Museum is a museum located on Jalan Damansara in Kuala Lumpur,Malaysia. The Gombak District is an administrative district located in the state of Selangor,Malaysia. The district was created on February 1,1974,the same day when Kuala Lumpur was declared a Federal Territory. Until 1997,Rawang was the district capital;the capital has been moved to Bandar Baru Selayang. Gombak borders Kuala Lumpur to the southeast and the Genting Highlands to the east. Carey Island is an island in Selangor,Malaysia. It is administered by the Zone 17 of the Kuala Langat Municipal Council. Carey Island is located to the south of Port Klang and north of Banting town. It is a huge island separated from the Selangor coast by the Langat River,connected by two bridges from Chodoi and Teluk Panglima Garang near Banting and a bridge from Pulau Indah and Pulau Carey.

The Mah Meri are an ethnic group native to western part of Peninsular Malaysia. They are one of the 18 Orang Asli groups named by the Malaysian government. They are of the Senoi subgroup. Most of the members of the Mah Meri tribe live along the coast of South Selangor from Sungai Pelek up to Pulau Carey,although there is at least one Mah Meri Community on the other side of the Klang River.

The Duano' are an indigenous people of Malaysia and Indonesia and can be found in islands along the northeastern region of Sumatra,Indonesia where most Duano' people have traditionally lived. The Temuan people are a Proto-Malay ethnic group indigenous to western parts of Peninsular Malaysia. They can be found in the states of Selangor,Pahang,Johor,Negeri Sembilan and Malacca. The Temuans are classified as part of Orang Asli group according to the Malaysian government. They are also one of the largest and the most widespread of the Orang Asli ethnic groups.
The Senoi are a group of Malaysian peoples classified among the Orang Asli,the indigenous peoples of Peninsular Malaysia. They are the most numerous of the Orang Asli and widely distributed across the peninsula. The Senois speak various branches of Aslian languages,which in turn form a branch of Austroasiatic languages. Many of them are also bilingual in the national language,the Malaysian language.
The Temiar are a Senoic group indigenous to the Malay peninsula and one of the largest of the eighteen Orang Asli groups of Malaysia. They reside mainly within Perak,Pahang and Kelantan states. The total ethnic population is estimated at around 32,000,most of which live on the fringes of the rainforest,while a small number have been urbanised.
Orang Kanaq are one of the 18 Orang Asli ethnic groups in Malaysia. They are classified under the Proto-Malay people group,which forms the three major people group of the Orang Asli. The Orang Kanaq are considered as the smallest Orang Asli group with the population of approximately 90 people only.

The Indonesian Malaysians,also known as Anak Dagang are Malaysian citizens of Indonesian ancestry. Today,there are many Malaysian Malays who have lineage from the Indonesian archipelago and have played an important role in the history and contributed to the development of Malaysia,they have been assimilated with other Malay communities and are grouped as part of the foreign Malays or anak dagang in terms of race. The Malaysian census does not categorize ethnic groups from the Indonesian archipelago as a separate ethnic group,but rather as Malays. In Malaysia,the definition of Malay is a person who can speak Malay,is Muslim,and follows Malay traditions and customs,even non-natives who marry Malays and embrace Islam are also accepted as Malays. In Malaysia there is a political trend of trying to put all ethnic groups who speak Malay and happen to be Muslim under one banner - Malay. This is not the case in Indonesia where all ethnic groups have their own cultural identities that are recognized and respected by the government.
Ahmad Faizal bin Azumu,nicknamed Peja,is a Malaysian politician who has served as Minister of Youth and Sports in the Barisan Nasional (BN) administration under Prime Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob since August 2021. He served as Special Advisor to the Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin in the Perikatan Nasional (PN) administration for only 11 days in August 2021,12th and 13th Menteri Besar of Perak from May 2018 to his resignation and collapse of the Pakatan Harapan (PH) state administration in March 2020 and again from March 2020 to his resignation again and the collapse of the PN state administration in December 2020. He has also served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Tambun and Member of the Perak State Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Chenderiang since May 2018. He is a member,Deputy President and State Chairman of Perak as well as Pahang of the Malaysian United Indigenous Party (BERSATU),a component party of the ruling PN coalition at the federal level and former component party of the PH opposition coalition at both the federal and state levels. He was the State Chairman of PH of Perak. He was one of the only two Menteris Besar of Malaysia who has ruled in two state administrations of two different and opposing political coalitions,which were PH state administration from May 2018 to his resignation and its collapse in March 2020 and PN state administration from March 2020 to his resignation and its collapse in December 2020.
Dato' Ramli bin Dato' Mohd Nor is a Malaysian politician who has served as Member of Parliament (MP) for Cameron Highlands since January 2019 and Non-Executive Chairman of Amanah Raya Berhad (ARB) since May 2020. He is a member of United Malays National Organisation (UMNO),a component party of the ruling Barisan Nasional (BN) coalition.
Kuala Langat Municipal Council is the municipal council which administers Kuala Langat District. This agency is under the purview of Selangor state government.
