Karim bin Mansor is a Malaysian politician. He served as Member of the Selangor State Executive Council (EXCO) in the Barisan Nasional (BN) state administration under former Menteri Besar Khir Toyo as well as Member of the Selangor State Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Tanjong Sepat from March 2004 to March 2008. He is a local leader who initiated the popular "homestay" project in Tanjung Sepat and created a business oriented kampung for the benefits of the people in the Tanjung Sepat and Morib area. [1]
Being a Malay Muslim does not deter Dr Karim Mansor to be a friend and act as a protector to the Orang Asli tribes in Selangor. Dr. Karim Mansor has been invited to many of the events organized or attended by many of the Orang Asli Tribes and association. [2]

Orang Asli are a heterogeneous indigenous population forming a national minority in Malaysia. They are the oldest inhabitants of Peninsular Malaysia.
Tun Samy Vellu s/o Sangalimuthu was a Malaysian politician who served as Minister of Works from June 1983 to June 1989 and again from May 1995 to March 2008,Minister of Energy,Telecommunications and Posts from June 1989 to May 1995,Minister of Works and Public Amenities from September 1979 to June 1983 and Member of Parliament (MP) for Sungai Siput from September 1974 to March 2008. He was a member and served as 7th President of the Malaysian Indian Congress (MIC),a component party of the ruling Barisan Nasional (BN) coalition,from October 1979 to December 2010. He is the longest-serving MIC president by holding the position for 31 years and one of the longest-serving Cabinet ministers by being in the Cabinet for 29 years. In December 2010,he announced his retirement from politics,paving the way for then MIC Deputy President G. Palanivel to succeed him as the new party president.
Ong Ka Ting is a Malaysian politician. He was the former Housing and Local Government Minister from 1999 to 2008 and Acting Transport Minister from May to June 2003 in the Malaysian cabinet. Ong also served as the seventh president of the Malaysian Chinese Association (MCA),a major component party in Barisan Nasional (BN);from May 2003 to October 2008. He was appointed Special Envoy of Malaysia to China on 1 November 2011. He relinquished the Special Envoy's post on 31 December 2017 after serving three terms.

The Mah Meri are an ethnic group native to western part of Peninsular Malaysia. They are one of the 18 Orang Asli groups named by the Malaysian government. They are of the Senoi subgroup. Most of the members of the Mah Meri tribe live along the coast of South Selangor from Sungai Pelek up to Pulau Carey,although there is at least one Mah Meri Community on the other side of the Klang River.
The Duano' people,also called Desin Dolak or Desin Duano' are an indigenous people of Malaysia and Indonesia and can be found in islands along the northeastern region of Sumatra,Indonesia where most Duano' people have traditionally lived. They are one of the Proto-Malay group of cultures. Due to their nomadic boat lifestyle,based almost exclusively on fishing and collecting shellfish and crustaceans by using mud-boards,Duano' people are often categorized as Orang Laut,a group that includes the Urak Lawoi’people and Moken people of the northern region of the Malacca Strait and the Andaman Sea. Although there are similarities in their way of life,they are a separate ethnic group. Citing their own language,culture,identity,and economic complexities,they deny being Orang Laut.
The Temuan people are a Proto-Malay ethnic group indigenous to western parts of Peninsular Malaysia. They can be found in the states of Selangor,Pahang,Johor,Negeri Sembilan and Malacca. The Temuans are classified as part of Orang Asli group according to the Malaysian government. They are also one of the largest and the most widespread of the Orang Asli ethnic groups.
The Senoi are a group of Malaysian peoples classified among the Orang Asli,the indigenous peoples of Peninsular Malaysia. They are the most numerous of the Orang Asli and widely distributed across the peninsula. The Senois speak various branches of Aslian languages,which in turn form a branch of Austroasiatic languages. Many of them are also bilingual in the national language,the Malaysian language.

He was one of the only two state leaders of Malaysia who has led state administrations of two different and opposing political coalitions alongside Mukhriz Mahathir.

The Minangkabau Malaysians are citizens of the Malaysia whose ancestral roots are from Minangkabau of central Sumatra. This includes people born in the Malaysia who are of Minangkabau origin as well as Minangkabau who have migrated to Malaysia. Today,Minangkabau comprise about 989,000 people in Malaysia,and Malaysian law considers most of them to be Malays. They are majority in urban areas,which has traditionally had the highest education and a strong entrepreneurial spirit. The history of the Minangkabau migration to Malay peninsula has been recorded to have lasted a very long time. When the means of transportation were still using the ships by down the rivers and crossing the strait,many Minang people migrated to various regions such as Negeri Sembilan,Malacca,Penang,Kedah,Perak,and Pahang. Some scholars noted that the arrival of the Minangkabau to the Malay Peninsula occurred in the 12th century. This ethnic group moved in to peninsula at the height of the Sultanate of Malacca,and maintains the Adat Perpatih of matrilineal kinships system in Negeri Sembilan and north Malacca.
