Adriana Bazon-Chelariu is a retired Romanian rower. She competed at the 1984, 1988 and 1992 Olympics and five world championships between 1985 and 1991 and won 10 medals, including three world championship gold medals and three Olympic silver medals. At the 1987 World Rowing Championships, she still competed under her maiden name and at the 1988 Olympics, she started under her married name.
Beate Schramm is a German rower and Olympic gold medallist. Between 1986 and 1991, she won four senior world championship titles, after having previously twice been junior world champion. She won gold at the 1988 Seoul Olympics in the quad sculls event for East Germany, but missed the A final at the 1992 Barcelona Olympics in the single sculls event when she competed for Germany. She was national rowing champion a total of six times; four times in East Germany and twice German champion after the reunification.

She first competed as an elite rower at the 1998 World Rowing Championships where she came fifth with the women's four, and won gold with the women's eight. She retained the world championship title at the 1999 World Rowing Championships. She retired after competing in a 2001 World Rowing Cup race.
Stefani Werremeier is a German rower. She won a gold medal in coxless pairs at the 1990 World Rowing Championships and a silver in the same event at the 1991 World Rowing Championships. At the 1992 Summer Olympics she and Ingeburg Schwerzmann won silver medals in the coxless pair event. In the same event at the 1996 Summer Olympics she and Kathrin Haacker came in 4th. Werremeier also won a gold medal at the 1994 World Rowing Championships as part of the German coxed eights team.

Louise Elisabeth Pascal-de Graaff is a retired Dutch rower. In the coxed four, she won the European title in 1973 and finished fifth at the 1975 World Rowing Championships. She competed at the 1976 Summer Olympics in the women's eight, together with Karin Abma, Joke Dierdorp, Barbara de Jong, Annette Schortinghuis-Poelenije, Marleen van Rij, Maria Kusters-ten Beitel, Loes Schutte and Evelien Koogje, and finished in eighth place.
Joke Dierdorp is a retired Dutch rower. She was most successful in the coxless pair, finishing with Karin Abma in second, third and fourth place at the world championships of 1977, 1978 and 1979, respectively; in 1979 they missed a bronze medal by about 0.6 seconds. In the women's eight, she was fourth at the 1975 World Rowing Championships and eighth at the 1976 Summer Olympics.
Kerri Leigh Williams is a New Zealand rower. She is a national champion, an Olympic champion and double medallist, a three-time world champion and a current (2019) world champion in both the coxless pair and the women's eight. Williams was born in Raetihi in 1993. She is of Māori descent, affiliating with Rangitāne iwi. She received her education at Nga Tawa Diocesan School in Marton. The school first started to offer a rowing programme in 2008 and a year later, Williams took this up. At the time, she was also competing as an equestrian but soon started focussing on rowing so much that she had to choose one of the sports. Her trainer told her three weeks after she had started rowing that she would one day represent New Zealand. Jackie Gowler, her younger sister by three years, took up rowing in 2010 inspired by her success; they have both made it into the New Zealand national rowing team. Their elder sister, Jaimee Gowler, remains active with horse riding. After school, Williams became a member of the Aramoho Wanganui Rowing Club.

Jennifer Walinga is a retired rower who competed between the 1980s to 1990s. As a member of the national rowing team for Canada, Walinga placed 4th at the 1983 Junior World Championships in Vichy, France, 2nd at the 1984 U23 Sr B World Championships in Copenhagen, Denmark, and 5th at the 1985 World Rowing Championships in Hazewinkel, Belgium. In coxed four events, Walinga won gold at the 1986 Commonwealth Games and bronze at the 1986 World Rowing Championships. At the 1987 World Championships, the team placed 5th in Copenhagen, Denmark. She and her crew of Tricia Smith, Heather Clarke, and Jane Tregunno (Stamp) had a seventh place finish in the coxed four at the 1988 Summer Olympics.
Sonia Mills is an Australian former rower – an Australian national champion, world champion and an Olympian. She had world championship success in both sculls and in sweep-oared boat classes. She competed in the women's double sculls event at the 2008 Summer Olympics.
