Karizak (Persian : كاريزك‎, also Romanized as Kārīzak)^[1] is a village in Golbibi Rural District, Marzdaran District, Sarakhs County, Razavi Khorasan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 129, in 34 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Golbibi Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in Marzdaran District, Sarakhs County, Razavi Khorasan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 6,278, in 1,536 families. The rural district has 13 villages.

Marzdaran District is a district (bakhsh) in Sarakhs County, Razavi Khorasan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 16,120, in 3,618 families. The District has one city: Mazdavand. The District has three rural districts (dehestan): Golbibi Rural District, Marzdaran Rural District, and Pol Khatun Rural District.
