Karla Andrea Navas Boyd (born 12 September 2004) is a Panamanian artistic gymnast. She is the 2022 Pan American champion on vault.
Navas was born in Panama in 2004. Her mother Veronica Boyd was also a gymnast and her grandfather Guillermo Boyd represented Panama in weightlifting at the 1968 Olympic Games. [1]
Navas made her international debut at the Pacific Rim Championships where she finished seventh in the all-around. [2] She next competed at the Junior Pan American Championships, where she helped Panama finish seventh as team; Navas finished fifteenth in the all-around. [3] In October Navas competed at the Junior South American Championships where she placed eleventh in the all-around. [4]
Navas was selected to compete at the inaugural Junior World Championships alongside Hillary Heron. Together they finished twenty-third as a team. Individually Navas finished 47th in the all-around. [5] Navas ended the season competing at the Junior South American Championships. She placed sixth in the all-around and helped Panama place third as a team. During event finals she placed first on uneven bars, fourth on vault, and fifth on balance beam. [6]
Navas became age-eligible for senior competition in 2020; however most competitions were canceled or postponed in 2020 due to the global COVID-19 pandemic. Therefore Navas did not compete that year. She returned to competition at the 2021 Pan American Championships where she helped Panama place fourth as a team and individually she placed seventh in the all-around. During event finals she placed fourth on vault and sixth on balance beam. [7] [8]
Navas competed at the Bolivarian Games where she helped Panama finish third as a team. Individually she finished ninth in the all-around. She won silver on vault behind Yamilet Peña and bronze on balance beam. She next competed at the Pan American Championships where she helped Panama finish tenth as a team during qualifications. Individually, she placed twenty-first in the all-around but won gold on vault. Additionally she qualified to compete at the upcoming World Championships as an individual. [9] [10] At the South American Games Navas helped Panama finish fifth as a team. Individually, she placed fifth in the all-around, fourth on the uneven bars and balance beam, and seventh on vault.

Jade Fernandes Barbosa is a Brazilian artistic gymnast. She is a two-time individual bronze medalist at the World Championships, and represented Brazil at the 2008 and 2016 Summer Olympics. She was part of the silver medal-winning Brazilian team at the 2023 World Championships.
Flávia Lopes Saraiva is a Brazilian artistic gymnast. She represented Brazil at the 2014 Summer Youth Olympics in Nanjing, the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio, and the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo. She was part of the teams that won silver at the 2023 World Championships, gold at the 2018 South American Games and bronze at the 2015 and 2019 Pan American Games. Jordan Lucella Elizabeth Chiles is an American artistic gymnast. She represented the United States at the 2020 Summer Olympics and won a silver medal in the team event. She was a member of the team that won gold at the 2022 World Championships. Individually, she is the 2022 World vault silver medalist and floor silver medalist. She has been a member of the United States women's national gymnastics team since 2013.
Shallon Jade Olsen is a Canadian artistic gymnast. She is the 2018 World silver medalist and 2018 Commonwealth Games champion on vault. She is also the 2018 Commonwealth Games floor exercise bronze medalist and the 2019 Pan American Games vault bronze medalist. She was a member of the Canadian team that won the gold medal at the 2018 Commonwealth Games and the silver medal at the 2019 Pan American Games. She is also the 2016 Pacific Rim vault champion, team silver medalist, and floor exercise bronze medalist. She represented Canada at the 2016 Olympics where she was the youngest member of the Canadian Olympic team and at the 2020 Olympic Games. Additionally, she currently competes for the University of Alabama gymnastics team, and she helped the Crimson Tide win the 2021 SEC Championships.
Brooklyn Chloe Moors is a Canadian artistic gymnast who competed at the 2020 Olympic Games and represented Canada at the 2017, 2018, and 2019 World Championships. At the 2017 World Championships, she became the first Canadian to win the Longines Prize for Elegance. She is the 2019 Pan American Games champion on the floor exercise and the silver medalist with the team. She is also the 2017 Pan American champion on the floor exercise. She currently competes for the UCLA Bruins in collegiate gymnastics.
Kayla Kecia DiCello is an American artistic gymnast. She is the 2021 World bronze medalist and the 2023 Pan American Games champion in the all-around. On the junior level, she is the 2019 Junior World vault champion and the 2019 U.S. Junior national all-around champion. She was an alternate for the 2020 Olympic team and the gold medal-winning 2023 World Championships team.
Emma Spence is a Canadian artistic gymnast. She represented Canada at the 2022 World Championships and won a bronze in the team event, their first team medal. She won bronze with the team at the 2022 Commonwealth Games. Individually she is the 2018 Youth Olympic bronze medallist on vault as well as the 2022 Commonwealth Games all-around and balance beam bronze medalist.
Csenge Mária Bácskay is a Hungarian artistic gymnast and the 2018 Youth Olympic silver medalist on vault. Additionally, she was a member of the team that won bronze at the 2020 European Championships. She will represent Hungary at the 2024 Summer Olympics.
Vladislava Sergeyevna Urazova is a Russian artistic gymnast. She represented the Russian Olympic Committee at the 2020 Summer Olympics and won the gold medal in the team event. Júlia das Neves Botega Soares is a Brazilian artistic gymnast and a member of the Brazilian national gymnastics team. Soares represented her country at the 2019 Junior World Championships, where she was a finalist on the balance beam.
