Kasey Kleyn (born March 15, 2008) is an American professional stock car racing driver who competes part-time in the ARCA Menards Series West, driving the No. 88 Ford for Naake Klauer Motorsports.

Racing career

Kleyn has previously competed in series such as the SRL Spears Southwest Tour Series, the Northwest Super Late Model Series, the SRL SPEARS Pro Late Model Series, the UARA National Late Model Series, the ASA STARS National Tour, and the ASA Southern Super Series. [1]

In 2024, it was revealed that Kleyn would make his ARCA Menards Series West debut at Tri-City Raceway, driving for Jerry Pitts Racing, [2] although he would eventually be entered to drive the No. 88 Ford for Naake Klauer Motorsports. [3] [4] [5] After setting the seventh quickest time in the lone practice session, [6] he qualified in eighth and finished on the lead lap in sixth place. [7] [8]

The race was held on Saturday, April 22, 2023, at Kern County Raceway Park in Bakersfield, California, a 0.50 mile (0.80 km) permanent asphalt tri-oval shaped short track. The race took the scheduled 150 laps to complete. Sean Hingorani, driving for Venturini Motorsports, would overcome from a late-race penalty, and took the lead from the dominating Landen Lewis, leading the final 39 laps to earn his second career ARCA Menards Series West win, and his second consecutive win.
