Dawson Sutton (born January 28, 2006) is an American professional stock car racing driver. He competes full-time in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, driving the No. 26 Chevrolet Silverado for Rackley W.A.R..
Sutton first began his racing career in 2022, where he competed in the Southeast Legends Tour, the INEX Nashville Spring Series, the Thursday Thunder Legends Racing Series and Atlanta Motor Speedway, and the INEX Summer Shootout Series at Charlotte Motor Speedway. [1] He then ran his first full-time season in late models in 2023, where he competed in over thirty events at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway, achieving four poles, two wins, and sixteen top-five finishes, and finished seventh in the World Series of Asphalt Stock Car Racing standings. [1]
On January 21, 2024, Sutton announced that he would run the full schedule in the ASA STARS Super Late Model Series. [2] Four months later, it was announced that he would make his debut in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series at North Wilkesboro Speedway, driving the No. 26 Chevrolet for Rackley W.A.R. [3] [4] [5] [6] After starting 36th and last due to qualifying being rained out, Sutton finished two laps down in 28th place. [7] On September 23, 2024, it was announced that Sutton would compete at the remaining five races of 2024 Truck season, driving the No. 25 Silverado for Rackley W.A.R. [8]
On October 17, 2024, it was announced that Sutton will run full-time in the Truck Series for Rackley W.A.R., this time driving the No. 26 Chevrolet. [9]
Sutton is the son of Curtis Sutton, who is the co-owner of Rackley W.A.R. [4]

The race took place on Saturday, May 20, 2023, in North Wilkesboro, North Carolina at North Wilkesboro Speedway, a 0.625 miles (1.006 km) permanent oval-shaped racetrack. The race was increased from 250 to 252 laps, due to a NASCAR overtime finish. In a wreck-filled race that caused twelve cautions, Kyle Larson, driving for Spire Motorsports, would put on a dominating performance, winning stage two and leading 138 laps, earning his third career NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series win, and his first of the season. To fill out the podium, Ty Majeski, driving for ThorSport Racing, and Matt DiBenedetto, driving for Rackley WAR, would finish 2nd and 3rd, respectively.

The race took the scheduled 250 laps to complete. Corey Heim, driving for Tricon Garage, would put on a dominating performance in the final stages of the race, leading a race-high 66 laps and cruising to victory for his eight career NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series win, and his third of the season. Christian Eckes, who started on the pole, led 62 laps of the race before falling back and finishing sixth. To fill out the podium, Grant Enfinger, driving for CR7 Motorsports, and Layne Riggs, driving for Front Row Motorsports, would finish 2nd and 3rd, respectively.
