Diaporthales is an order of sac fungi.
The Amphisphaeriaceae are a family of fungi that is mainly found in parts of New Zealand, South America, Asia and parts of Europe. According to the 2007 Outline of Ascomycota, there were 41 genera placed within the family, although the position of 13 of those genera is uncertain. The 2020 Outline of Fungi and fungus-like taxa severely reduced the family to 4 members.
Phaeochorella is a genus of fungi It was formerly placed in the family Phyllachoraceae, before in 2020 placed in the monotypic family of Phaeochorellaceae.
The Coniochaetales are an order of fungi within the class Sordariomycetes. This order was monotypic and contained a single family, the Coniochaetaceae, historically placed in the order Sordariales. However, this taxonomic placement has been challenged by other authorities, and the Coniochaetales was proposed to include the family Coniochaetaceae. In 2020, family Cordanaceae was added to the order.
Caudospora is a genus of fungi within the Diaporthales order, class Sordariomycetes. It was later placed in the Sydowiellaceae family.
Kallichroma is a genus of fungi in the class Sordariomycetes which consisted of two species in 2008. In 2023, it contained 4 species.
The Meliolaceae are a family of fungi in the order Meliolales. Mostly tropical in distribution, species in this family are biotrophic on the leaves and stems of plants. Despite this, most species do not cause extensive damage to the host plant, and are not generally considered to be of economic significance.
The Boliniaceae are a family of fungi in the Boliniales order. The family consisted of seven genera and 40 species in 2008. A new study found more genera and species in 2020.
Spinulosphaeria is a genus of fungi in the Sordariomycetes class of the Ascomycota. It was placed in 2020, within the Order Coronophorales and in the family of Chaetosphaerellaceae.
Aquaticola is a genus of fungi in the Cephalothecaceae family of the Ascomycota. The relationship of this taxon to other taxa within the Sordariomycetes class is unknown, except that it is in subclass Diaporthomycetidae, and it has not yet been placed with certainty into any order.
Fusoidispora is a fungal genus in the Annulatascaceae family of the Ascomycota. The relationship of this taxon to other taxa within the Sordariomycetes class is unknown, except that it is in subclass Diaporthomycetidae, and it has not yet been placed with certainty into any order. This is a monotypic genus, containing the single species Fusoidispora aquatica.
Frondicola is a fungal genus in the Hyponectriaceae family and Xylariales order. It was formerly placed in the Annulatascaceae family of the Ascomycota. This is a monotypic genus, containing the single species Frondicola tunitricuspis, described as new to science by mycologist Kevin Hyde in 1992.
Apodospora is a genus of fungi, formerly within the Lasiosphaeriaceae family. As on 2020, it was placed in the Bombardiaceae family.
Apodus is a genus of fungi that was originally placed within the Lasiosphaeriaceae family. In 2020 it was placed within the Neoschizotheciaceae family.
Jugulospora is a genus of fungi that was placed within the Lasiosphaeriaceae family, It was then moved into the Neoschizotheciaceae family. This was thought to be a monotypic genus, containing the single species Jugulospora rotula, until more species were found.
Zygopleurage is a genus of fungi, that was placed within the Lasiosphaeriaceae family. until later analysis placed it within the Neoschizotheciaceae family.
The Arctomiaceae are a family of lichenized fungi in the Ascomycota, class Baeomycetales. The family was named by Theodor Magnus Fries in 1861, with Arctomia as the type genus. Species in this family are found in arctic and subarctic habitats, usually associated with bryophytes.
