The Ken Dryden Award is an annual award given out at the conclusion of the ECAC Hockey regular season to the best goaltender in the conference as voted by the coaches of each ECAC team. [1]
The Ken Dryden Award was first awarded in 1996 and every year thereafter. It is named in honor of famed Cornell goaltender Ken Dryden who led the Big Red to their first National Title in 1967.

Kenneth Wayne Dryden is a Canadian politician, lawyer, businessman, author, and former National Hockey League (NHL) goaltender and executive. He is an Officer of the Order of Canada and a member of the Hockey Hall of Fame. He was a Liberal Member of Parliament from 2004 to 2011 and Minister of Social Development from 2004 to 2006. In 2017, the league counted him in history's 100 Greatest NHL Players. He received the Order of Hockey in Canada in 2020.
Tammy Lee "Barbie" Shewchuk is a women's ice hockey player. Shewchuk was a member of the 2000 and 2001 gold medal teams at the Women's World Hockey Championships. She also competed at the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City and contributed with two points as Canada captured the gold medal. The Olympic gold medal was particularly special for Shewchuk as she was a late cut for the 1998 Olympic team.
Bruce John Bullock is a Canadian former professional ice hockey goaltender who spent parts of three seasons in the National Hockey League in the 1970s with the Vancouver Canucks.

The Cornell Big Red men's ice hockey team is a National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I college ice hockey program that represents Cornell University. Cornell competes in the ECAC Hockey conference and plays its home games at Lynah Rink in Ithaca, New York. Six of the eight Ivy League schools sponsor men's hockey and all six teams play in the 12-team ECAC. The Ivy League crowns a champion based on the results of the games played between its members during the ECAC season.
Mark Adam Dekanich is a Croatian former professional ice hockey goaltender. He was selected by the Nashville Predators in the fifth round of the 2006 NHL Entry Draft.
Alison Brewer is an American former ice hockey goaltender. She was goaltender for Brown University and was the 2000 winner of the Patty Kazmaier Memorial Award. Brewer was inducted into Brown's Hall of Fame in 2007. She later earned her MBA from the University of Wisconsin and has worked in global marketing since.
The St. Lawrence Saints women's ice hockey program represents St. Lawrence University in Canton, New York. The Saints play at Appleton Arena and are part of the Eastern College Athletic Conference. In 2001, St. Lawrence participated in the inaugural NCAA Championship tournament. Their current head coach is St. Lawrence alumnus Chris Wells, who played for the 1992 men's championship ice hockey team.

Erica Howe is a Canadian professional ice hockey goaltender for PWHL Toronto of the Professional Women's Hockey League (PWHL). As a member of the gold medal winning squad at the 2010 IIHF World Women's U18 Championship, a hockey card of her was featured in the Upper Deck 2010 World of Sports card series. She was the first goaltender selected in the 2014 CWHL Draft, claimed by the Brampton Thunder. She made her debut with the Canada women's national ice hockey team at the 2014 4 Nations Cup.

The Bulldogs played their home games at Ingalls Rink on the campus of Yale University, competing in the ECAC.

The 1966–67 Cornell Big Red men's ice hockey season was the 51st season of play for the program. The Big Red represented Cornell University in college ice hockey. In its 4th year under head coach Ned Harkness the team compiled a 27–1–1 record and reached the NCAA tournament for the first time in its history. The Big Red defeated Boston University 4–1 in the championship game at the Onondaga County War Memorial in Syracuse, New York. Cornell tied the record, held by several teams, for the fewest losses by an NCAA champion.
