Kerala State Industrial Development Corporation Ltd. is the industrial and investment promotion agency of the Government of Kerala (India), for the promotion and development of medium and large scale units in the State of Kerala. As the Nodal Agency for foreign and domestic investments in Kerala, KSIDC provides support for investors, besides processing various incentive schemes and facilitating interaction between the government and the industrial sector. Established in 1961, KSIDC is led by a group of professionals from various fields including Engineering, Management, Finance and Law. It has two offices in Kerala - the head office at Trivandrum (Thiruvananthapuram) and a regional office at Kochi (Cochin), Ernakulam. Shri. Paul Antony is the Chairman of KSIDC and Shri. M. G. Rajamanickam is the managing director of KSIDC.

KSIDC assists in identifying the infrastructure needs of the State, structuring projects to bridge the gaps and spearheading a balanced growth of the core competencies of the State. The key areas of KSIDC's focus includes:

The Silver Line is a proposed higher-speed rail line in India that would connect Thiruvananthapuram, the capital city, and Kasaragod of Kerala state. It will have an operating speed of 200 kilometres per hour (120 mph), [Maximum Design Speed: 220 kmph, ] allowing trains to cover the 532-kilometre (331 mi) distance in less than four hours, compared to the present 10 to 12 hours it takes to traverse this distance. Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Chengannur, Kottayam, Ernakulam, Thrissur, Tirur, Kozhikode, Kannur and Kasaragod will be the stations in this corridor.

He received the 2006 Pravasi Bharatiya Samman and in 2009 received the fourth highest Indian civilian award, Padma Shri, from Government of India, in 2009, with. He died after prolonged illness at Apollo Hospital, Chennai on 1 October 2019, aged 70.

Bio 360 Life Sciences Park Park in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India

Bio 360 Life Sciences Park is a Biotechnology and Life Sciences park in the city of Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India. Established in 2013 by the Government of Kerala, the Phase I of the park is spread over 75 acres (30 ha). An additional 128.5 acres (52.0 ha) of land is being undertaken by the government of Kerala as the Phase 2 development of the park. The park focuses on incubation, R&D and manufacturing in the fields of life sciences, biotechnology, nanotechnology. bioinformatics, biomedical devices and pharmaceuticals. Bio 360 is on National Highway 66 at Thonnakkal, 22 kilometres (14 mi) from Trivandrum International Airport. Similar industrial parks like Technopark is 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) and Technocity is 3 kilometres (1.9 mi) from Bio 360.

Kerala Rail Development Corporation d/b/a Kerala-Rail is a public sector joint venture company under the ownership of the Government of Kerala for the railway infrastructure development in Kerala. The company was incorporated on 3 January 2017.
