Indira Gandhi International Airport is an airport located in the city of Delhi, India that serves as the international aviation hub of the Indian capital of New Delhi as well as the rest of northern India. The airport, spread over an area of 5,106 acres (2,066 ha), is situated in Palam, 15 km (9.3 mi) south-west of the New Delhi Railway Station and 16 km (9.9 mi) from New Delhi city centre. Air India Cargo was a cargo airline, it was the freight carrying subsidiary of Air India, based in Mumbai. It operated freighter aircraft services off and on at different stages of its history, the latest being from 2006 to 2012. The West Coast Canal or National Waterway No 3 is a 205-km stretch of this inland navigational route located in Kerala, India and runs from Kollam to Kottapuram and was declared a National Waterway in 1993. In addition to the main stretch, Champakara and Udyogmandal canals are navigable and connect the industrial centers of Kochi to Kochi port Inland Waterways Authority of India (IWAI) under the Ministry of Shipping is coordinating the task for developing, monitoring and administering national waterways. It is the first National Waterway in the country with 24-hour navigation facilities along the entire stretch. It has been extended to Kozhikode as per National Waterways Act, 2016. The National Waterway 3 is passing mainly through the alignment of ertswhile Thiruvananthapuram–Shoranur canal.

Kannur International Airport is serving the North Malabar region of Kerala, Kodagu and Mysore districts of Karnataka and Mahé district of Puducherry in India. It is located 28 km (17 mi) east of Kannur town, and 24 km (15 mi) east of Thalassery town, near the municipality of Mattannur in Thalassery taluk of Kannur district in Kerala. It is owned and operated by Kannur International Airport Limited (KIAL), a public–private consortium. The airport opened for commercial operations on 9 December 2018.
Kerala Soaps is a state-owned soap-manufacturing company in the state of Kerala, India, producing the erstwhile brands, manufactured by Kerala Soaps and Oils Limited. The company was founded in 1914, and reconstituted as a state-owned company in 1963 in the Kozhikode district of Kerala. The company operates as a subsidiary of Kerala State Industrial Enterprises Limited. After four decades of operation, the company was locked down in 2002 owing to heavy losses, and in a general atmosphere of state divestment. After remaining closed for eight years, aimed at tapping on the popularity of its legacy brands, operations restarted on 1 January 2010, under a new management. The original company Kerala Soaps and Oils Limited was known for its legacy brands, including Kerala Sandal, a bathing bar made of sandalwood extract harvested from the forest of Kerala.

Chhatrapati Sambhaji Raje International Airport is proposed to serve the city of Pune, India. The greenfield airport will be located near the villages of Ambodi, Sonori, Kumbharvalan, Ekhatpur-Munjawadi, Khanwadi, Pargaon Memane, Rajewadi, Aamble, Tekwadi, Vanpuri, Udachiwadi, Singapur near Saswad and Jejuri in Purandar taluka of Pune District in the Indian state of Maharashtra. The CIDCO will hold 51 per cent stake in the SPV, while MADC's stake will be around 19 per cent. The remaining 30 per cent will be divided between the Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) and Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA). The Government of Maharashtra has declared that the first flight from this airport is expected to take off by 2019 and the airport will be named after the King of Maratha Empire, Sambhaji Maharaj who was born at Purandar fort. The Airports Authority of India conducted surveys on various areas near Pune for a new airport for the city. Initially a site near Chakan was fixed for the airport. But due to opposition from local farmers and the mountainous terrain, the government decided to set the new airport in Purandar taluka as it was a flatter region compared to Chakan. The proposed airport in Purandar will be spread over 2,400 hectares. This airport will also boost trade from Pune and neighbouring districts as it will have its own dedicated cargo terminal.
Thiruvambady Airport is a proposed airport project near Thiruvambady, about 35 km (22 mi) from Kozhikode City and 46 km from Malappuram city in the state of Kerala in India. The State Government of Kerala has directed the district collectors of Kozhikode and Malappuram districts to conduct and submit a viability report of the project.
Air India Express Flight 1344 was a scheduled international flight on 7 August 2020 from Dubai, United Arab Emirates, to Kozhikode, India, landing at Calicut International Airport. The flight was part of the Vande Bharat Mission to repatriate Indian nationals stranded due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The flight crew aborted two landing attempts because of heavy rain and tailwind. On the third landing attempt, the aircraft touched down on runway 10, but skidded off the end of the tabletop runway and slid down a 9–10.5 m (30–35 ft) slope, killing 19 passengers and both pilots. The four cabin crew members and 165 passengers survived, of whom over 100 were injured. This was the second fatal accident involving Air India Express.
