Kerr is a census-designated place (CDP) in Lake County, Montana, United States. The population was 251 at the 2010 census, [2] up from 17 in 2000.
Kerr is located in north-central Lake County at 47°40′40″N114°11′33″W / 47.67778°N 114.19250°W (47.677998, -114.192717), [3] bordering the southwest side of Polson, the county seat. The western edge of the Kerr CDP is formed by the Flathead River as it exits Flathead Lake.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 1.02 square miles (2.63 km2), of which 0.91 square miles (2.36 km2) are land and 0.11 square miles (0.28 km2), or 10.49%, are water. [4]

As of the census [6] of 2000, there were 17 people, 6 households, and 6 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 69.9 inhabitants per square mile (27.0/km2). There were 9 housing units at an average density of 37.0 per square mile (14.3/km2). The racial makeup of the CDP was 82.35% White and 17.65% Native American.
