Kerry Maher-Shaffer (born January 15, 1984) is a Canadian rower. [1]
Maher-Shaffer won the singles sculls event at the Canadian Championships in 2010. [2] Maher-Shaffer competed at three World Rowing Championships, finishing 13th in 2011 in the women's double sculls, fifth in the women's fours in 2014 and finally sixth in 2016 in the women's fours. [1]
At the 2015 Pan American Games in Toronto, Canada (the rowing competitions were held in St. Catharines), Maher-Shaffer won two gold medals in the quadruple sculls and double sculls events. [3]
Silken Suzette Laumann, is a Canadian champion rower.
Roger Charles Jackson, is a Canadian academic and Olympic gold medallist rower. He won the only gold medal for Canada at the 1964 Summer Olympics, in the coxless pair with George Hungerford. The same year they were awarded the Lou Marsh Trophy. Jackson also competed at the 1968 Olympics and finished eleventh in the single sculls event. At the 1972 Olympics he was a crew member of the Canadian boat which finished twelfth in the coxed fours competition.

Eve Macfarlane is a New Zealand rower. Described as a "natural rower", she went to the 2009 World Rowing Junior Championships within a few months of having taken up rowing and won a silver medal. She represented New Zealand at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London as the country's youngest Olympian at those games. She was the 2015 world champion in the women's double sculls with Zoe Stevenson. At the 2016 Summer Olympics, they came fourth in the semi-finals and thus missed the A final.

Carling Zeeman is a Canadian rower. She competed at several World cups, international events, along with the 2015 Pan American Games. Zeeman is a former world championships silver medallist in the women's quadruple sculls event. More recently she won gold in the women's single sculls at World Rowing Cup I regatta in Varese, Italy, and a silver at the 2017 World Rowing Cup 3 regatta in Lucerne Switzerland.
Kate Haber is a Canadian national rower. She won bronze at the 2016 World Rowing Championships in Rotterdam while competing in the lightweight women's sculls. Haber is the reigning two-time Pan American Games Champion when she won gold in lightweight women's double sculls with gold with Liz Fenje at the 2015 Pan American Games in Toronto, and Jaclyn Stelmaszyk at the 2019 Pan Am Games in Lima. She started rowing at the University of Toronto after injuries from her track and field days in the pole vault and pentathlon events forced her to move to a new sport. Haber has her PhD in Rehabilitation Sciences and Anatomy from the University of Toronto.
Jaclyn Stelmaszyk is a world champion Polish Canadian rower. She won gold in the lightweight women's quad sculls at the 2012 World Rowing Championships as a competitor for Poland. Stelmaszyk returned to the Canadian team and is the reigning Pan American Games Champion, winning gold in the lightweight women's double sculls with Kate Haber at the 2019 Pan Am Games in Lima. In December 2019 Jaclyn was granted an exemption to the three year rule by the Olympic executive board to change nationalities from Canada to Poland. She immediately began training with the Polish Rowing Federation (PZTW) in hopes of qualifying a lightweight double boat for the 2020 Tokyo Olympic games.

The rowing competitions at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris ran from 27 July to 3 August at the Stade nautique de Vaires-sur-Marne, National Olympic Nautical Stadium of Île-de-France in Vaires-sur-Marne. The number of rowers competing across fourteen gender-based categories at these Games was reduced from 526 to 502, with an equal distribution between men’s and women’s events. Despite the slight changes in athlete figures, the rowing program for Paris 2024 remained constant from the previous edition as the competition featured an equal number of categories for men and women, with seven each.
Abby Dent is a national team rower from Canada. Dent became a Pan American Games champion when she won gold in the women's eight at the 2023 Pan Am Games in Santiago and also won a silver medal at the games in the coxless pair with Olivia McMurray.
Shaye de Paiva is a national team rower from Canada. De Paiva was a Pan American Games champion when she won gold in the women's eight at the 2023 Pan Am Games in Santiago as well as two bronze in the double and quadruple sculls.
