Kettering Science Academy is a secondary and sixth form school in Kettering, Northamptonshire, England, teaching pupils from age 11 to 18. It is a member of the Brooke Weston Trust and moved into a new building in September 2012. As of September 2023 there are 1327 students enrolled throughout the main school and the sixth form. After the end of the 2022/23 Academic Year, multiple high-level teachers left the school as well as key-staff, including the principal, Tony Segalini and the Year 10 Head of Year. From the 2023/24 Academic Year, a new principal, Jennie Giovanelli, has been appointed and is expected to tighten up Uniform rules and strictness in a new policy for extra discipline in the school. Uniform

Students wear a black blazer with a purple striped tie. Some students are honoured with black ties and special PE ties for academic success. Uniform rules are relaxed with black trainers being allowed, however, leggings are controversially forbidden.

Computer Science

Introduced in 2012 with the new building was a vast computer suite. The department, headed by Edward Phillips (succeeding Daniel Duncan), is one of the top performing areas of the school. The department has enjoyed a lot academic success attaining several passes, in GCSE Computer Science for the 2023 June series. Likewise the sixth form has enjoyed similar attainment in recent years.
