Spratton is a village and civil parish in the English county of Northamptonshire. The local government authority is West Northamptonshire. Before changes in 2021 it was governed by Daventry District Council. At the time of the 2001 census, the parish's population was 1,099 people, increasing to 1,150 at the 2011 Census. Spratton is 7.1 miles north of Northampton, 6.5 miles from Long Buckby and 11.4 miles from Daventry. The village is situated on the A5199 road.

Guilsborough Academy is a co-educational academy school in Guilsborough, Northamptonshire, England.

Northamptonshire Music and Performing Arts Trust is a music and performing arts service in Northamptonshire, England, which provides instrumental music lessons in local schools. Its services are available to around 13,000 school children. In July 2009 the music service was given an Outstanding level through MSEP evaluation. The service supports fifteen Saturday morning music centres and many music and drama groups, all within Northamptonshire. Membership of the county level groups is determined by an annual audition process each July. For most groups there are three levels: Junior, Training and Youth which are usually abbreviated by staff and students, e.g. County Junior Wind Orchestra (CJWO), County Training Strings (CTS) and County Youth Orchestra (CYO).

West Northamptonshire is a unitary authority area covering part of the ceremonial county of Northamptonshire, England, created in 2021. By far the largest settlement in West Northamptonshire is the county town of Northampton. Its other significant towns are Daventry, Brackley and Towcester; the rest of the area is predominantly agricultural villages though it has many lakes and small woodlands and is passed through by the West Coast Main Line and the M1 and M40 motorways. The district includes the site of the Roman town of Bannaventa, and the grade I listed Althorp House and its estate.

Moulton School & Science College is a secondary school with academy status located in the village of Moulton, Northamptonshire. Formerly known as Moulton School, the founding headmaster was Leslie Alfred Scott (1914-1999), who was headmaster from 1954 until his retirement in 1979. He established the school motto - "Fill the Unforgiving Minute". He also established the first house system and created the school crest. Two new houses were added, Scott and Petit, after Scott retired in 1979. As of 2019, the school as of 2019 had 1,355 students on roll, including in the sixth form, and 135 teachers. It is a school for ages 11–18. The school was granted specialist Science College status in 2002, and this was re-designated in 2007.
