Kick Up the Fire, and Let the Flames Break Loose is the second album from the British alternative rock band, The Cooper Temple Clause, released on 8 September 2003 in the UK by Morning Records, and on 24 February 2004 in the U.S. by RCA. [9]

Contents

It was released on CD and vinyl, including a limited edition with bonus DVD, a Japanese edition and an album sampler. Some CD releases of the album feature Copy Control protection.

The title is a quotation from a poem by Philip Larkin.

The album charted at #5 in the UK charts and dropped to #41 the following week. It was however considered a big success for the band.

Keri Kelli is an American hard rock guitarist who has played with artists and groups including Alice Cooper, Slash, Jani Lane, Vince Neil and John Waite. In March 2013 he formed Project Rock together with James Kottak from the Scorpions. Project Rock consisted of Keri Kelli, James Kottak, Tim 'Ripper' Owens, Rudy Sarzo & Teddy Zig-Zag. "Promises, Promises" is the first single to be taken from The Cooper Temple Clause's second album, Kick Up the Fire, and Let the Flames Break Loose. It reached number nineteen on the UK Singles Chart and has been featured on the 2004 video games, WRC 4 and FIFA Football 2004. The song's main riff is based on the guitar line of Sonic Youth's "Drunken Butterfly" from their 1992 album Dirty.

Tom Bellamy Musical artist

Thomas Rhys Bellamy is the multi-instrumentalist responsible for contributing guitar, bass, synthesizer, keyboard, trumpet, programming, samples, melodica, harmonica, percussion, toy piano, bowed guitar, decks, FX/beats, vocals and lyrics in the band The Cooper Temple Clause. He is also a keen DJ and has remixed several songs by The Cooper Temple Clause as part of his side project, Rhysmix. Following the split of the band, Bellamy has turned his full attention to remixing and djing under the Rhysmix alias. He is currently collaborating with well-known DJ Eddy Temple-Morris under the name Losers, remixing and producing music in the Bleak House, a studio in rural Berkshire that formerly housed The Cooper Temple Clause.
